Hmm... I can somehow see them going with a mid-film lightsaber battle sequence with Rey (and possibly Luke) facing off against the Knights of Ren that would ultimately culminate in a duel between Rey and Kylo Ren. As the popular opinion goes, we need our hero beaten so she can rise again, hence I believe that she will, indeed, be defeated by Kylo in this film. Not sure how utilized is Luke going to be, so I can't say for certain whether or not he will face Snoke or Kylo in this film (but I can't imagine any other foe for Luke with what we currently know about the ST).

I was thinking about the whole grey jedi idea. I dunno...but what if rey and Kylo meet in between of both sides where one is still of the light but doesn't fully embrace the darkness while the other is still of the darkness but doesn't fully embrace the light. I dunno.... if anyone can explain this further - great but if it has been discussed already. ..sorry.

I think the Jedi Olympic torch will be passed to Rey regardless of what happens to Luke. I don't know how Luke's story will play out, but I know what I would maybe like to see. I want to see Luke deal with his inner and outer demons with his awesome Jedi Zenness that makes me go wow, what an epic dude. The Luke I know is not some sooky la la whos been off sulking because he suffered a setback, so I cant wait to find out what he's really been up to for all that time. I would like to see Luke deal Snoke's death blow with his unreal Jedi-ing, and I hope that comes sooner rather than later. I would like to see Luke succeed in creating a lasting Jedi legacy. Doing this in a way where Luke is in the new characters orbit, and not visa versa is perhaps the tricky bit, as there is also so much I want to see with the new characters stories. Basically, the movies where I get to see everything I want would about a week long each.

I guess ultimately, I would like to see him become one with the Force at some point instead of being defeated in a lightsaber duel. Though there is some evil part of me that after Snokes defeat, would like to see Kylo deal him a mortal blow that leads to his becomming one with the Force. What can I say, the power of the darkside?
