    for a measely 100 credits, stake your claim! i'm proposing there will be NO "Rey-is-related-to-the-Skywalkers" reveal in TLJ and that Luke is NOT Rey's father by the roll of the credits.

    i've kept the opening wager super low to encourage people to play and also to remind us all that this is just for funsies.
    if anyone's interested in higher stakes, we can certainly make another wager thread.

    If you had asked me two weeks ago, I would have told that no, Rey is not of Skywalker's origin. However, after watching TFA two weeks ago with my parents and my mum (who's no SW fan) claiming that to her it's obvious that she's Luke's child, I do not know. So, I won't bet on anything.

    Honestly, I’m on the fence about whether she’s a Random or a Skywalker.

    The arguments and potential reasons for both, which have been discussed at (arguably an excessive) length for the last two years, are equally interesting in my eyes.

    However, I’m more than willing to shake things up a bit for the sake of some fun!

    I bet 100 credits that Rey is revealed to be Luke’s daughter in The Last Jedi.

    I think there's a twist to the film and Rey's heritage is a mystery to everyone but Snoke. So I have 100 credits on it's Snoke with the reveal but there is some doubt as to whether he's actually telling the truth. In the end, we still won't be really sure where she came from, but we will learn her arrival is a sign things about to change for the Force and the Galaxy entire.
