Kylo Ren is set to be one of the most dashing villains ever seen in a Star Wars film. This is largely due to actor Adam Driver's model-esque stature and his luxuriant flowing hair. That mullet is sure to melt lots of hearts come December 18th but so is Jedi Master Luke Skywalker's new "lumbersexual" look. Mark Hamill is said to be sporting a very Obi-Wan-like beard in the film.

Which of the two force-sensitive hair styles are you most attracted to and why?
Kylo's long hair or Luke's facial hair?

P.S. I'm going mullet because Driver's anger makes it work. It feels as though he wants you to hate his mullet if only to feed his anger. Meanwhile I find the wise old Jedi Master with beard look a bit tired personally. Granted, beards help make older actors appear more distinguished, but it's boring and beyond expected. Hamill pulls it off well but it's so been there, done that.

I'm a "beardsman" myself so I will have to vote the beard, but I am a huge fan of mullets as well.

Someone needs to do a beard/mullet mashup.

    i vote mullet.
this is my single favorite image from all the promo stuff i've seen.
(well, the version of this with vader's mask on the left side)

    it is just so compelling!

i gotta say, the mullet sticking out the back of the helmet just does something.
he's ragged, he's amateurish, and all the more frightening because he's trying to prove something.

Very, very good question Willy Bobo.

I tend to believe Mullets make a Force user weaker.

Qui Gon in TPM got one and got his Jinn kicked by Darth Maul.
Obi sported one in AOTC and got beaten by Dracula.
Anakin grows a mullet in ROTS while Obi chops it: BAM! Obi kicks Anakin's ashes.

I might even say that Darth Sidious was about to be killed by Mace Windu but got the upper hand when his mullet got burned by the Force Lightning.

Yoda and Yaddle... which one survived? The one with the mullet got killed.

As for beard, I think they have no effect whatsoever but to make a Jedi look wiser and smarter.

I really like Kylo Ren's overall look. He may be my favorite bad guy design ever, even. But it's all about the whiskers of the force.

Jedi and Sith are not the only one with dimished powers caused by the mighty mullet.

I have a beard, myself, and I find it often helps me parse through thorny moral quandaries and find greater connection to the Force.

In general, I would go with facial hair (my hubs has a 'stache, he looks really stern like The Stranger in The Big Lebowski).
However.... Driver doesn't really have a mullet in the truest sense of the word, he just has long hair. And is very handsome. So.. yep. Driver FTW.
