    I'm just wondering if there is going to be a Duel of Fates moment. I imagine the main protagonist will be in trouble at some point. Down and Defeated, awaiting the final strike of the lightsaber. Then, all of a sudden the doors open. A hooded figure stands, his face obscured by shadows. Queue in the music. Duduhduruduh Duduhduruduh Duduhduruduh ! It's Master Skywalker.

    Master Skywalker, there's too many of them. What are we going to do?

    As much as I want this a more realistic entrance will be his meting with Rey at the end & all the master Skywalker fight scenes will be in episode 8 & 9

    This was my first thought too! As much as I'd love it, I think this lines up with them seeing the X-wings flying low across the lake right?

    Luke's entrance would carry far more metaphoric depth by night, and I feel this is what will happen (I have my view on exactly when Luke shows up, and it is indeed at night). Night is an archetypical metaphor of loss of hope, and Luke showing up at night is like the light shining in the darkness- to bring the light to the galaxy in the dark of night. Well you know the old saying, "It's always darkest before Luke appears"

    Rey will walk up the steps on the Island (Skellig) towards his home and knock on a rock door when suddenly..... *drum roll* cue the (John Williams Maul Entrance musical score from TPM) as Luke FORCE pushes two rocks aside that are acting like doors, this will be the Darth Maul type of entrance..as he is revealed behind them.

    and then

    He say's

    "My baby Girl"

    I Think that the first time we see him. Will be when the star killer base is fired - as we see in the shot. It will no doubt destroy and entire star system with several planets and countless lives lost. The tremor in the force will be something that shakes/disturbs Luke. And we see the scene at the fire place where he touches R2. Mirroring what we see in ANH - like so many other elements in this film

    This could be what makes the "Force Awaken". A star system being destroyed by the Starkiller base could be the start of the movie.

    I hope the notion of Luke only appearing at the very end with Rey giving him the lightsaber is not at all the case. At the same time, I hope Luke's entrance isn't a copy of Gandalf showing up with rays of light like in the Hobbit or LOTR.
