SPOILER Luke's location during the "I have it" scene with Artoo

Well I don't know if any else has noticed that this picture might have Luke sitting/kneeing beside R2D2. What looks like a Robe same color of Robe we see in teaser two of Luke touching R2D2 near a fire.

But that set picture looks like the set photo of the village see where beside of the camera is the tip of a structure.

3.Village set picture, as you can see top roof structures are similar with those pole like things sticking out


This just raises more questions such as Why is Luke on Jakku? Is Luke the one that Kylo Ren confronts at the village as he turns to do what seems a force push?

It seems like Jakku is in the first act of the movie. I don't think we will see luke till later in the film. Although it would be cool to see luke very early on and a early confrontation with Kylo Ren??? That sounds sick!!

It would also go with that dude saying with TFA blueprint in another thread that says Luke and Kylo have a light saber battle. It also has me thinking is this mirroring obi-wan keeping an eye on Luke like in ANH? But keeping an eye out for his niece Rey.

 

lets say this is burning village ( I think it is)
night time kylo feels something turns quickly to push
...........nothing is there
maybe without control or focus, like Luke on dagobah sees the future/past when ever
then we see, earlier/ later/now, a pull to the cave/castle where Luke is kneeling by a fire by r2
then quick cut to next scene

he is meditating in kYlos head (these are the "flashbacks" rumored early on)
so they film the same scene with Luke in two places do a slow morph with effects
looks cool mirrors Luke training (Kasdan)
we just see it, not dialog
adds to showing Lukes power, maybe he isn't even in control of it
and we get why mark traveled all over with them to film, but is only seen quickly hooded maybe a sliver of a glimpse
could be cgi'd in but JJ wants practical when he can

 

If the final image of Luke/R2 in the trailer is a composite then it sure looks like it is from the second film units backdrop of Hang En cave added to the shot filmed at pinewood near the village scene.

The big roundish rocks in the background and dirt on the ground just don't match the pinewood desert village or the grassy grey stones of Skellig.

 

Ever since seeing the teaser I've always thought that was Luke by the side of the village massacre. I've also thought that Kylo either sees or feels Luke, hence his abrupt turn and force graph/push.

 

This is why I kinda have a feeling that the "One-Scene-Luke" theory is only partly true. We may only get the Full Skywalker for a short period, but I think he might be hiding in the shadows throughout--waiting for the right time to "Awaken the Force."

 

Wouldn't that be more like a Phantom Menace just minus the Menacing?

 

Touche'! But unlike TPM, I think we'll get plenty o' Luke in the rest of the trilogy

Maybe the next 3 seconds show his face. It is just a small clip in a trailer.
