    I don't think so. His crackling lightsaber is one of the trade marks of the ST.

    No, even though I like a masked Kylo Ren. But a new helmet would ruin his character development in TLJ.

    Maybe would be cool to see an compltely new helmet ... On the other hand i also kinda felt like that he broke of with the whole idea of the helmet after he smashed it on the elevator ;);) ..

    I dont know. His helmet its so emblematic now. I would like to see the same helmet in IX. (not sure if He will use one).

    I don't think that Kylo would ever return to being 'child in the mask'. He might use some other symbol of his new authority: a robe, a scepter, half mask covering his scar, I don't know.

    You know, it wouldn't surprise me. There is something desperate and extra about Kylo (he is half-Skywalker after all) and taking it to that level is not beyond him.

    I think he will let the past die and forgo the helmet, even though I like it. I think he would need to stop trying to imitate grandpa and come into his own.

    If we had a gap of 4 or 5 years between TLJ and IX, I would like to see Kylo completly changed, its one possibility. Of course exist the possibility of JJ Abrams do not changed at all his visuals. But if the gap was accurate we could have something like this:

    A Kylo Ren with a longer hair and maybe same kind of clothings:
    A kylo Ren Bold and completly out of himself, completly crazy - Like Colonel Kurtz in Apocalipse Now (It will be interesting I think)

    I wonder if we ever find out how he got the name of Kylo. We know the "outer-movie" explanation, but not the "in universe" explanation.

    This was actually considered for TLJ, but they probably decided against it because of Driver's ears. xD

    Ahh official Episode 9 threads, the season is upon us.

    I'm definitely expecting a more "grown up" and... leader-like? look. Shorter hair but not too short because as seen above... yeah, not a good look. Not expecting a new mask of any kind.
