Main Poe Dameron/Oscar Isaac Episode IX Thread

I saw the panel online and I didn't know that Oscar Isaac is from Guatemala (Yavin IV)!
Also it was great when he started to explains some names in spanish: "La Guerra de las Galaxias" (spanish name for SW before the padronization) and "arturito" (R2).

Yeah. It’s surprising for me. I thought they were going to use his family backstory.
Particularly that of his mother.
This is something that I didn’t see coming and that is interesting.
She looks like the equivalent of Q’ira.
The question is why to introduce a Q’ira in the last movie of the trilogy...
Plus... the ring. It’d be quite weird to keep that detail without any pay off.

he's not wearing the scarf. So this must be later on in the movie. Surely after the desert planet and the snowy planet and after the scene
inside the SD we saw in the trailer. But I guess it may come shortly after that one. Maybe he gets the wound during that fight with the STs, before
reaching the MF and escaping with Finn and Chewie

 

Poe finally gets to fly the big one. No doubt his xwing is jealous.
