What she's doing is pretty sensible, she's getting plenty of experience with roles completely different from Rey and also going into producing...learning new skills which will benefit her in the future.
I'm curious as to what John Boyega is up to these days...

Hello folks. Came across this interesting tid bit on Daisy while on Google the other day. Sadly nothing on Episode X or her being cast as Spider-woman. But it's still cool nonetheless and just demonstrates what a stylish and poised woman she is.

And to think that she a relative newbie got the cover of Vogue in November (?) 2017. Truly remarkable! Here it is: Enjoy!

I actually like her short hair cut (she sported the same look at the BAFTA's). Reminds me of Tokyo from Money Heist and Denver's line to Rio about Maserati's.

WARNING: The following clip contains cursey words:

She was definitely that in the ST.

There's a big fan push for her to be cast as SW in the Olivia Cockburn's Marvel film.

I actually think she'd be pretty good as Jessica Drew, Marvel is also owned by Disney so she has a foot in the door, so to speak, already.

Strong rumours of Daisy starting to film her new Disney + in April today. Great to see her at the Bafta's too confirming she will film alongside Stephen Graham

    Confirming Stephen Graham

Just throwing this in the Daisy/Rey thread since I don't want to start a new one. Here's two images that came up on my Twitter feed. It's the cake topping for a 'Dark Rey and Ren' cake. I hope that LF is paying close attention to this, and understands how profitable these two are.

Oh and Happy belated Birthday to our Gracious Empress. Long may she reign!

Rey should have absorbed the Sith upon killing Palpatine. It is not to late to have First Female Sith Lord. Bring Kyle back and he can save Rey maybe.

You know....I would have loved to have seen Dark Rey....I think Daisy would have been great. She spooked me in that five minute scene; reminded me of how creepy Frodo was at the end of LOTR..'the ring is mine.' Brrrr.

Not really a fan of woman going to the darkside just to be saved by a man, It's probably why didn't touch that angle with a barge pole and correctly so. Also, it's a repetive boring storyline to have a man saving a woman. But that kind of happened in TRoS but at least it was the man that died, Plus It was her trilogy having a man unsurp her as the ultimately would have left a tacky taste that would have illuminated folks like certain toxic fan bases that belong and should stay on youtube.

If we get an episode X. I am sure that's the direction they will go in. Rey will fall to the darkside, maybe as a result of a betrayal. And it will be up to Ren and Finn to bring her back. It would be foolish for them to not capitalize on the dark visions she was experiencing.

I find this interesting because until now DLF haven't done much about post ST material...suddenly they are talking about Rey. What could this mean?

Rey Disney+ series confirmed ;) - But seriously I would love it. The first season could be about Rey struggling to be a Jedi. She's traveling throughout the galaxy meeting new allies and enemies. Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac and John Boyega could appear for one or two episodes as well. The finale could tease the return of Ben Solo. In season 2 Adam Driver returns as Ben Solo. The hype would be real.

Came across this photo on my Pintrest. Not sure of it's origin or when it was taken. But it has to have been since the release of of TROS. Really captures a Sith Empress in the making. Sith Empress.jpeg

The way I see it, Dark Rey has to do with Vader in Dagobah. There, Vader was not only Vader, but Luke under the mask. What Luke could become.

Dark Rey was what Rey could become; but just as Vader meant also 'dark Luke', maybe Dark Rey means also 'vader', that is to say 'evil parent'.

Someone we have not seen yet.

Dark Rey speaks like Leia. 'Don't be afraid of who you are'. So, maybe 'dark mother'.

If Rey felt Han to be the father she never had, then Leia...after all, Dark Rey came from Rey's mind, from her fears and feelings and her subconscious. Maybe she knows something ugly to be true, just like Luke knew before the reveal.

Needless to say, I'm not convinced about Dathan and Minamir being Rey's parents - more precisely about Minamir being the birth mother. The novel shadow of the sith does not clarify it. It doesn't bring us close to the womb, to conception, to pregnancy.

When it comes to the womb, things are more clear with Shmi or Padme or Leia.

With Anakin and Luke&Leia and Ben that is. It's in the films and the books. With Rey, not so much. (Jodie Comer looks a lot like Leia's 'real mother' in the ROTJ novel, who hugs Leia and hides her somewhere, and is remembered in 'flashes'. But that woman wasn't Padme. Maybe this two real mothers accident has been repeated with Dark Rey, this time on purpose)

So I came across this post on another SW MB. It's of a tweet put out by NBA player and SW fan by the name of Deandre Jones laying out which SW characters he would choose to be on his team and what position. And yes he chooses our gracious Empress as being #5. His choices & reasoning & position of an athlete clearly demonstrate what SW is about. Strategy and fighting the good fight!
