No worries. I probably need to be more careful myself. Just clicked on the first thread without thinking about it. I embraced the rumours early on but have now decided to dial it back.

 

I've spoken on my belief that Luke in a form is responsible for killing Han. I still leave that to speculation myself I don't think it has enough behind it to be considered a rumor yet

 

I'm really iffy on them killing Luke even though it would fit the idea of the mentor figure dying in the first film of each trilogy. I think Han dying would make more sense because if they kill Luke, no one can train the Jedi and they'd be stuck.

 

who would be able to kill the master Jedi like Luke. if anyone is going it's Han.

On the other hand how big is the bag of cash Disney are flashing to do there bidding, might persuade Mr Ford to carry on the role as Disney require!

I think Mr Hamill would do it for free he looks very happy to be in this film, never mind the next.

Hopefully together they awaken the force to track down Jar Jar together and unleash resurrected force in the form of Darth Maul on him.

 

They wouldn't be stuck my friend. All a Force user would have to do is find a Holocron or be visited by a Force Ghost and they could be trained to become a Jedi without the need of a master. Luke only trained with Ben for a short time and when we saw him in ESB on Hoth he already knew telekinesis. Ben never thought him that or did it in the movie so there was no way that Luke could have figured that out for himself unless he had Ben's spirit teach him. Then on Dagobah Luke trained with Yoda and the same happened. He didn't finish his training yet when we see him in ROTJ, Luke knows how to Force Choke the Gamorreans and that was an ability that we never saw Yoda use so I guess he must have at least explained it to Luke.

 

I'm not trying to be sarcastic and I'm asking this in good faith (as my question may arise from a misunderstanding of this board), but if you want to be spoiler-free, why are you on a board where spoilers are welcomed and why do you click on a thread that says "Major Spoiler from Sunday"? Given the thread's title, wouldn't a spoiler tag be redundant?

 

I don't believe that he's going to die for a lot of reasons.

I don't believe that, though. That would anger a lot of fans.

It could be possible that after all of these years Harrison Ford changed his mind about Han dying in a film or caring if he dies or not. I don't necessarily believe that he and Fisher will be in the next film either, but that doesn't mean that he'll be killed off. That's all rumors and speculation by people who shall remain nameless.

I don't believe that Harrison said either Han is killed or I won't do this movie. Not after all of these years.

Haven't heard this rumor in a long time. Don't think it's happening.
