I'm not sure if this would be the best place to put this, but what do you think of Mark Hamill in GotG?

What if he reprised as Luke Skywalker?

I once read somewhere that Disney was thinking about doing a SW/GotG cross over, though I'm sure that wouldn't be canon and most likely a cartoon. I also took it more as a half joke.

Any thoughts? Would that be a draw for you?

For me, definitely not, but others might like the idea, I imagine, or at least find it curious enough to give it a chance.

I personally prefer Star Wars to remain distinct from MCU, mainly because Star Wars is supposed to be set "A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away."

Ah, but with time travel, anything becomes possible, maybe even Doctor Who or Doctor Strange =)

I don't know the Guardians universe at all, but you do know he can play other characters right?

Marvel and Star Wars should never share a universe! Furthermore as already mentioned by @JediMasterRobert, it's not even possible timing wise. Guardians of the Galaxy is set in the future while Star Wars is set in the past.

A Luke Skywalker cameo could be funny ... maybe.
As long the Guardians don't become part of the Star Wars Canon, I'm okay with it (pwned)

I'd love for Hammil to be in GOTG.

He shouldn't be Luke though. That crossover needs to not happen.

Instead, I'd like to see him as a villain he can really stick his teeth into. Instead of the obvious Star Wars inspiration, he should instead draw on his "villain that likes to be a villain" roles, like with the Joker.

He might make a good Kang the Conqueror.
