    Hmm I think I have reached the comic book based, super hero movie over saturation point. However this Spider-Man trailer at least went in a better direction. Seemed a bit more personal with the stakes finally shifting downward. They can only go so high I mean we have seen the, the country, the world, the galaxy, then the entire universe to even the whole universe across multiple dimensions on the verge of destruction. The downshift is welcome.

    Lol me too! Half of my mind was like "Oh no YOU DIDN'T!" and the other half was nodding and like "I see what you did there." I think I'll hold that scene with a little more skepticism than I should, at least until the context of that scene comes out. I did appreciate how powerful Spidey is in this universe though.

    I feel their big issue is that they seem to be pretty risk-averse with their formula. Sure, it works, but they're playing it a bit too safe for my liking. For instance, I enjoyed Doctor Strange, but I would have liked it a lot more if they had decided to portray it as one of their more serious movies throughout (akin to the original Iron Man) instead of going with more hokey humor towards the end, as I felt that clashed a bit with the drama and the subtle/dark humor of the first third of the film.

    I agree. The Homecoming trailer really dampened my excitement for this universe. Which is really sad because I was just looking back at the first couple of pages of this thread and we were all talking about how awesome a MCU spidey would be. I hope that it proves me wrong but that trailer seemed like Amazing Spider Man 3.

    I was a bit lukewarm on the first version of the trailer, too, but as it stands I feel that the movie fundamentally understands what Peter Parker should be as a character, which is something the TASM movies struggled with (no, Avi Arad, Peter Parker should not be a skateboarder). I liked the international cut a lot better.

    I can't wait for the next story arc for AoS! Its gonna be epic!! Sure hope one day we will finally see some members from the show like Coulson, May, and Daisy in future Marvel movies!

    Also, Hela does have her headdress in the film, so don't worry about that aspect of her look. The headdress is being added in post-production, and a green template has been used on-set.

    This looks weird... It can either be great or go into the Mariana Trench of campiness, which is also okay. Either way, this is worth paying attention to.
