A recent Spider-Man: Homecoming spoiler got out regarding Zendaya's character, Michelle.

She's absolutely not this universe's version of Mary Jane. She's Michelle Toomes, the Vulture's daughter - and that's why she's so important to the story.

I think this particular plot spoiler has me really excited about the movie's narrative and could help bring depth to a certain other character.

That Panther trailer is pretty cool. It was an interesting choice to get the director of Creed to do this. I hope it works out. It's a bummer they'll ruin the intrigue this trailer creates when they inevitably release a subsequent four or five trailers that are going to give away a blast ton of more footage. (epic fail)

Word is that this is unconfirmed. The source on this was MoviePilot, which cited the junior novelization, which does not say things about Michelle that they suggest it does. But it could still play out.

The Black Panther trailer is fantastic. Just a glimpse of futuristic Wakanda, but enough to get you intrigued. Costumes are gorgeous. And that acting dream team? I cannot wait! :)

Yes, the costumes are definitely one of the highlights. Also, British actors continue they fight to conquer the whole of Hollywood and to be honest, I'm more than fine with that. Besides, it's great to see Andy Serkis in flesh.

Critics are saying Homecoming is amazing. I owe Marvel an apology if that is the case. Sony did a awful job marketing this film. I truly thought it was gonna be a stinker from the trailers. Anyway kudos Marvel.[IMG]

I think that Sony needs to let Marvel handle the marketing on the next movie to make up for the shortcomings they had with advertising this movie. The second trailer made a mess of things.

In any case, I'm relieved that it's being called yet another hit for Marvel, and hopefully this will convince Sony to keep working with them instead of trying to branch off with a villain-verse that nobody wants.

Not a perfect edit or scene match but if you want to get a sense of what the feel of the new Homecoming Spider Man theme this is a pretty good video over the top of the final swing in Spider Man 2002. Really digging it.

The reason I'm not pretty hyped for Homecoming it's because that awful second trailer and those awful posters.

And now, they want to do movies, like you said, that nobody wants instead of save those villains for Spidey and after establish the character, make a Spidey vs Venom.

I have full confidence in Marvel, but I don't trust Sony. If I were them, I would sit down, let Marvel do all the work, and gain money, but no, they have to mess everything up.

I don't trust Sony either. Amy Pascal is epically stupid(and borderline illiterate) and Avi Arad hasn't known what he was doing since at least the early 2000's.

That being said, it sounds like Marvel were really the ones more in charge of the direction of Homecoming, so I think it'll probably be good, regardless of what stupid things Sony does to screw things up after its release.

Yeah, those Sony films aren't going to do well. It's going to go the same route as Sinister Six. They'll fade into non-existence, and Marvel will be more willing to use those characters.

Technically Silver & Black apparently has Scorpion in it, and Spider-Man: Homecoming has a pre-Scorpion Mac Gargan as one of Vulture's goons. I don't think that the Sony-made movies have any impact on what characters Marvel are going to make use of.

Well I have no self control and read the entire Homecoming plot. Don't think you guys will be disappointed. On paper it reads like a great spidey comic. Even had a few twist I did not see coming. Can't wait to see it on the big screen.

So recently, it was just confirmed that the masked kid in Iron Man 2 is really Peter Parker.

Makes this all the more amusing as a coincidence:
