OFFICIAL NEWS Master and Apprentice, a Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan novel by Claudia Gray

some of the Jedi Apprentice books tried to cover this territory, but honestly, i felt like they were silly-weird and kinda boring.
hopefully this book will sort of reboot that whole shindig with more energy and a keener sense of world-building where it concerns the Jedi.

 

So far I've liked what I've read from Claudia Grey, so hopefully this book won't be any different.

 

So I was re-watching the episode Voyage of Temptation from The Clone Wars and there is a part where Obi Wan is telling Anakin about how he met Duchess Satine when he and Qui Gon spent a year on Mandalore protecting her from insurgents. Could be interesting to see if this book is based on that and we see a young Obi Wan dealing with internal conflict between budding feelings for Satine and his commitment to the Jedi Order.

 

I just finished the audio book. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Rael Aveross is very interesting and I hope we hear more from him.

I'd also love more stories on QJG and OWK's relationship.
