It has certainly been an interesting year for the world, tough times have been had by most, and it has been a great pleasure for us here at Star Wars News Net to write about something that gives so much joy and hope, Star Wars.

Despite this being the first year in a few without a new film, the final season of the The Clone Wars, the second season of The Mandalorian (Note: DIsney Gallery: The Mandalorian arrives on Disney+ today), and the recent announcements of numerous upcoming projects has given us a lot to enjoy this year and lots to look forward to.

Next year will kick off with the arrival of the multi-media project: The High Republic, giving us a mix of novels and comic books set in a brand new era 200 years in the past.

On the animation front, 2021 will see the arrival of Clone Wars spin-off The Bad Batch along with a series of shorts from Japanese studios in Star Wars: Visions.

Finally, next December will give us The Book of Boba, seeing Temuera Morrison reprise his role as a Fett in his own series! So whatever type of Star Wars fan you are, next year will have something for you!

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season. Thank you for being a part of this site, it really does mean a lot to us.. We'll always love writing about Star Wars and hope you've loved reading it, we can't wait to report and discuss everything Star Wars has in store for 2021. This is the way.
