Maul vs old Ben? Holy moly!

 

Yes! Who is that voice? Man it sounds just like Sir Alec Guiness.
If it happens to be Ewan McGregor man he has really stepped up his Obi Wan game...lol

 

OMG OMG OMG OMG.

Sounds a lot like Sir Alec indeed.

 

We have been waiting for Rogue One to have its moment under the sun and for the holidays to pass, so we can re-join Star Wars: Rebels on their adventures. Judging by the new trailer, it was worth waiting for the rest of Season Three.

The ominous music, Obi-Wan's voice repeating 'warning' over and over, Thrawn in hand to hand combat, the war drums and that final shot are the least this trailer has to offer.



Now that Rogue One is destroying the world's box office, are you ready for the rest of the Season Three of Rebels? What are you hoping for? What are you most excited to see?

Final shot: Maul vs Kenobi

 

I read somewhere the voice is by the same guy who does Tarkin in Rebels. So, no Ewan, it seems.

 

Its fairly obvious that Old Ben will kick Mauls arse. Again

 

Utter, beautiful perfection!!

Death Troopers.
The TIE Defender.
Tatooine.
Mandalore.
Mon Mothma.
Thrawn kicking ass.
Obi-Wan and Maul!!!!!!!!

Plus, it finally feels like it's becoming the Rebellion that we know it to be from the Original Trilogy, rather than the rag tag thing that can barely do anything that it's been for some time on the show now. It's all coming together.

 

Unless Maul is not there to fight. They share a common enemy, don't they?

 

The trailer looks exciting, as usual, but I shall reserve my judgement for the day I see the episodes themselves. However, what I am excited for is the (presumably) final duel between Obi-wan and Maul. After his 25 year quest for revenge the only person that is eligible to end Maul's ultimately sad life is Ben Kenobi himself. Besdes, this trailer disproves that Satine and Sabine are a family, which is always nice.

 

I'll admit that I've not really been all that into Rebels thus far, except for the occasional appearance of a big character.... But dang, this looks amazing! Kinda strange how much "healthier" Saw sounds in this show. As someone else mentioned, he didn't even sound this good in the flashback scene in Rogue One.

 

I really hope that the episode where Maul finds Obi-Wan does not feature the Rebels crew, I'm hoping for a standalone episode that follows Maul's personal journey.
And I also hope that it's more than just a duel between the two, I genuinely want the two old enemies to sit and have a conversation, to connect.
Maul said he was looking for hope, surely that means more than just a battle with Kenobi?

 

It certainly sounds like James Arnold Taylor, epic trailer. I love those few seconds of Thrawn in combat & we can officially say the Obi Wan & Maul rematch is on!!!!

Wow there's a whole lot going on in this trailer. We got Saw Gerrera, Deathtroopers, Mon Mothma, Mandalore, more Thrawn, General Dodonna, and good old Ben Kenobi vs Maul. Things will certainly be interesting in the second half of the season. Also Stephen Stanton really sounds like Sir Alec Guiness in that clip.
