As I said in the SWN News Feed, I would like to see Miguel Sapochnik to direct one of the D.B and Dan movie trilogy; having seen the incredible job he made for the battle stuff (GOT 5x08 and 6x09 above all) I believe that a great Old Republic Jedi vs Sith battle directed by him would be one of the greatest moment in all SW history!
    What do you think?

If one of their films is going to have a massive battle scene then I completely agree! The battle scene in 'Battle of the Bastards' is easily one of the best, if not the best, cinematic battles I've ever seen on TV or in a movie. Imagining that scene with lightsabers instead of swords really wets my appetite!

    AMEN TO THIS!!!

Wow The Battle of the Bastards is easily one of my favorite GoT episodes.

Just imagine an amazing battle from the Old Republic times (Jedi vs Sith) or even the Mandalorian Wars!!

I think he'll get consideration but I consider Michelle MacLaren the favorite. Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad history, almost got Wonder Woman, like Sapochnik a very talented action director.

I think they will get different directors for each movie, and both are really good choices :D

Anthony Russo & Joe Russo - the directors of Cap 2, Cap 3 and the upcoming Avengers IW - were TV directors before Feige hired them.

Cap 2 was a great movie but Cap 3 was quite bad. Lightning seldom strikes twice at the same place.

Actually, no. Please accept that people have opinions.

There are plenty of people who have pointed out valid criticisms towards the third Captain America film, and most of it relates to the plot not making sense. The plot is everything, and as for Cap 3 there is A LOT of stuff that just doesn't hold up unless you make use of a MASSIVE "suspension of disbelief". None of the Avengers mentioning the government wanting to nuke New York City is just one of many, many, many, many things in Cap 3 that makes the characters act extremely illogical.
