SPECULATION Millenium Falcon in Rogue One?

    I'm wondering if the Falcon will get a cameo in R1? Han and Chewy would have been running around the galaxy during this time. I'm thinking we could see it at a spaceport or in flight somewhere. Wouldn't even be surprised if we saw some "smugglers" loading up cargo in a YT-1300 in the background somewhere.

    That would be a neat little easteregg. But putting the Falcon in without the appearance of Han and Chewie is weird for me.
    It would have to be so minuscule that we wouldn't be taken out of the moment and only notice it after multiple viewings

    The millennium falcon in rogue one would be a interesting move but I think they should give Han & Chewie a pass.

    Remember, the Falcon, or at least a YT-1300, was in ROTS.

    Having Han and Chewy would be easy, especially Chewy. Han could just be seen from the back. Wouldn't need Ford. I could hear a funny comment about smugglers never making anything of themselves.

    Nice idea, but it's fan service, is this necessary?
    Personally I wouldn't mind it, if the Falcon has a tiny cameo.

    I think that it would be funny to see a montage with Jyn Erso being assigned to recruit these bounty hunters and she at one point goes to Corellia or Kashyyk or wherever and approaches a table of Saabac and the prize is The Millenium Falcon and here is a 3D graphic of The MF on the table and th table has Jyn, Lando, and Han...they play a game like in Casino Royale and Han wins and Han is saying that if Jyn wins he will help her but she walks away after he won and you can see Han and lands arguing about who won fairly.

    I can only see it being in it as an Easter Egg. Ie. in the background in Mos Eisley if they go to Tatooine.

    The problem if you only see the Falcon is that these are well used ships, she isnt the only one being used in the Galaxy so it think it would be a mute point?

    Maybe for a cameo but Han and Chewie weren't aware of the death star in Ep IV. Not sure they'll show Tattoine either.

    Why Why WHY? I dont understand why people want these little cameo's in movies these days, its pointless... If you do this you are making the Star Wars universe smaller... this movie is designed to make it BIGGER we dont need to see the Falcon or Luke or anyone from the movies and cartoons that we know.. And I find these can ruin a movie...

    Why? Because it's ships like the Falcon that got me and many others hooked on Star Wars in the first place! It's the Falcons, the ORIGINAL X-wings, Y-wings, AT-ATs, Star Destroyers that we all craved. They took all that away from us with the PT and is part of why it wasn't popular. To bring Star Wars back, we want to see the things that made it such a success in the first place. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

    Yes I understand that but its things like that in movies that make the SW universe seem small... what they want to do is make it feel LARGE by showing us new things and expanding out... its a large universe so we dont need to see the Falcon hidden in a background shot, we dont need to see C3PO or R2... in fact most book readers, game players or big fans that love the expanded universe hate seeing them put into new movies...

    New is always bettter ( but not with Scotch ) we need new things in movies, new jokes, new people, new planets, ships, weapons and so on.. we need this so it expands and keeps SW's alive :)

    Well, In a ANH, Han did say he had outrun Imperial Starships when talking to Luke and Ben. Just might catch a glimpse of the Falcon getting away from one.

    Where is the Emoji to pull my face off? i ask again... Why would it be good to see this?

    I really Hope that Rogue One has NO little cameos in the movie.... not one.... and then its gets rated one of the best Star wars movies ever made....

    but pointless.. ( this is only 1 mans opinion, not having a personal go at anyone ) I just see it happen all too much is SW's books, games and movies and i think its pointless in all of them..

    You're right, everyone has an opinion. Personally, I don't see it as pointless. I see it as another opportunity to tie things back to the OT. For me, it's the iconic ships and vehicles for the OT that got me hooked on Star Wars. I was 7 years old sitting on the floor on the front row of a packed theater opening night. Looking up at that screen and seeing that opening scene of the Star Destroyer passing over was awe inspiring! After ROTJ, I wanted more of THAT story and style. Instead, we got the PT that I personally can't stand. So, having the Falcon or other original items from the OT will help bring me back to the movies I first loved.

    It's a no from me, we've just seen Han, Chewie and the Falcon in TFA. I don't personally need another reference.

    Plus it will no doubt confuse the hell out of the general audience, who Disney's marketing team will be working overtime in the run up to this film to let people know this isn't the 'sequel' to The Force Awakens as people have already thought.

    At this stage Han and Chewie aren't linked to The Rebellions cause, lets leave it at that as it makes Hans change of heart above Yavin to help his new friends/the rebellion with less impact.

    For me it isn't needed
