    This shot in the trailer has been bothering me. It looks like maybe just maybe it could be the millennium falcon blowing up. The piece that flies out of the right side of the explosion looks like it could be the cockpit. I hope I'm wrong and I probably am because we've seen the ship flying on other planets in the released footage, but still Idk.

    The screenshot that's causing you to worry is almost certainly not the Falcon. At this point, I doubt we've even seen the Falcon yet.

    But as to its ultimate fate, I haven't heard anything about it being destroyed. But the third act of the movie is awfully murky. Guess we'll have to see.

    (I doubt it, though)

    I would not worry about the Falcon, they have centered all marketing around it. I have high doubts anything happening to the Falcon....it will be alright....

    Rey accidentally crashes the Falcon into Luke's hut, killing him instantly. Force ghost Luke appears and is very pissed off.

    Just think about it.
    They are clearly still on Jakku, which is where the movie starts.
    And we've already seen the Falcon on Takodana and Starkiller.
    There is no way that was the Falcon in that explosion.

    I'm glad that the MF survives, but what is it doing on Jakku? Coincidence? I don't think so, but I'm at a loss to explain why it's there, and why Han is apparently the first person Rey and Finn run into after they steal it.

    The explosion is the quad jumper as seen in this clip where you see it before and after the explosion.
