In a tweet posted yesterday, actress Ming-Na Wen said she is promoting The Book of Boba Fett this week, though she didn't give more specifics. While it is possible she will just be recording a promo that would be posted later, we should remember that, from Friday through Sunday, Disney will hold the bi-annual D23 convention, in which Lucasfilm has dropped some promos for their upcoming projects before. Here's the tweet:

Wounds are still fresh from last Friday, in which Disney Plus held the first edition of the Disney Plus Day, where the only content Star Wars fans experienced was a Boba Fett documentary and a sizzle reel for Obi-Wan Kenobi, only available to Disney Plus subscribers. For that reason, it is understandable that fans will be a bit more apprehensive to get excited about Lucasfilm actually promoting the next upcoming show. In fact, Ming-Na Wen also posted a similar picture to this one a month ago, when she said she was working on another promo for the show, which we still have not seen.

The Book of Boba Fett debuted its first trailer - and poster - on November 1st and is less than 45 days away from release (December 29). Ming-Na Wen is back reprising the role of Fennec Shand, and Temuera Morrison is also back to play the title character. The only other actress we know is appearing in the show for sure is Jennifer Beals. Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas-Howard, Jon Favreau, and Robert Rodriguez are all back as directors.

Check out our breakdown and speculation for the trailer here, and make sure to come back during the weekend for our coverage of D23, where we might finally get some new Star Wars promotional material.
