    There have been some minor changes over the past year for the official Rogue One logo


    Recently, Star Wars is much larger.....

    It seems they are attempting to have the STAR WARS stand out more

    I think the most recent choice is good for a final....

    What do you all think?

    I think the best one is the second one where STAR WARS is smaller, not that I don't want it to be there, but the last ones look bad to me becuase the letter is too bold compared to ROGUE ONE.

    I'm sure the very first won was simply a concept but that's a pretty drastic change to the final product .

    I'm feeling like we don't need to be reminded. What else would it be? Places that have cinema know from frame one its of The Franchise, on a global scale or thereabouts.

    You see that ad for that movie you know it's Star Wars. Poster, trailer, whatever.

    This is a globally adored phenomenon, can we not just say Rogue One?

    For me the second one looks the best. It got perfect coloring and the size of the subtitle isn't too big. But I'm also satisfied with the final product. In terms of the subtitle, I like "A Star Wars Story" more than "Anthology". Just Rogue One would be better though.

    There are actually people that do not follow Star Wars as much as we do and may not realize this is not a Star Wars movie. I had a couple of guys at work tell me they watched a trailer for it and didn't realize it was Star Wars until someone pointed it out. (for the record they aren't the brightest, but they pay for tickets) That's what Disney is after, the dollar. Make it known that it is Star Wars. What are they afraid of? Flaunt it, take in the dough.

    'A Star Wars Story' over Anthology any day.

    I love the logo. My only bug-bare with the latest one is that with the Star Wars Story logo has been so enlarged that it feels noticeably off-centre.

    The last one is an overkill, atleast from graphic design standpoint. Sadly, it is apparent that marketing aspect overrides the visual one.

    I like the second one the best. To me
    STAR WARS:ROUGE ONE would be the best title, but "a Star Wars story" is growing on me

    To be fair, while "Anthology" looks nicer, I don't think over 80 percent of the world's population would know that word exists, let alone its meaning. I've learned to enjoy and be happy with the "Story" version, but thanks for highlighting the changes, never really picked up on that.

    I still really hate that "Star Wars" isn't centered.

    Can't work out why they didn't just go for something like "Star Wars Chronicles". "Chronicles" could sit under the main SW logo.
