    Actor: Sunny Pawar
    [IMG]

    Why?
When you're looking for a child actor with some chops right now, he's right at the top the of the list and one of the things that Star Wars has kind of lost in its current iteration is the child-centric focus.
Star Wars is very big and fantastic in the past films and TV series, but there's a giant vacuum of specifically targeted kid relationships.
There's cute porgs, and Groku, which convert into a storm on plushies, but there's no characters at their level to latch onto for kids currently.

Fail or not, the OT had Ewoks and the PT had Jar-Jar and Anakin, but the ST and stand alone films have next to nothing in them that provides a character anchor for kids.

The trick is to not be overly gimmicky in this day and age, but to deliver a character who is relatable, relevant, meaningful, and not simply a token coin check box for kiddies.

There's a lot going on in the world today, and there's no token "Mr. Rodgers" to help explain the scary big world going on to them.
Star Wars is a great vehicle for that - for contextualizing those experiences by giving a child character something powerful and meaningful that they can do in the story instead of just watching a bunch of adults do really cool things in a dream land.

Sunny Pawar is quite capable of deep moments as in Lion, but also keeping it fun and light and comedic in a 1980's Tom Hanks sort of way (strange to say about a kid, but true) as in Chippa.

    Cheers,
    Jayson

Hey y'all so sorry about the wait. I really did not mean for it to be that long. I will make this one short so we can move on quickly. My next pick is...
    Elle Fanning !
She is just what I need to start tying up my movie's loose ends.

Again, thank you guys so much, I really feel bad about making you all wait. I am having a blast though! @RoyleRancor

With our last scheduled pick* (though @RoyleRancor see my question below) , Starship Studios selects Steve Buscemi, age 63, actor. I think we all know Buscemi's work, looking for his quirky personality in an interesting role and important role in our project.

So....imagine Steve Buscemi as a non-human.....(not too hard when you think of the range of roles and personalities he has portrayed....)

....Buscemi will be cast as a Sullustan, Beolars Bribbs, the CEO of the Incom Corporation (starship manufacturing). Bribbs is currently a Legends character so this casting will bring him into the Canon universe. Bribbs will be a master of deception and negotiation, putting one "face" on the Incom corporation to the Empire, while secretly developing and deploying a key starfighter for the Rebellion....

For @RoyleRancor can I round out my movie crew with a couple more wildcard picks or are we held to the picks we have made already...?

    @gholc15 you are up next....

In the interest of not holding things up further, go ahead and make your selection @oldbert.

@gholc15 can choose whenever he is able, and I will post my last selection here whenever I've made up my mind.

With their last last pick in the draft, Nights Watch Productions will finally select:

    Michael Shannon (actor)

Now that we've I've jumbled up these last few picks, I think it should be back on track with @Jayson up next.

    Actor: Warwick Davis

You don't need his picture, or his IMDB, and I don't have to explain why.
