    I think most modern movies and especially franchise films are the same story told with the same beats just with different dressing. A series might have some slow bits but they can take risks no corporation will let a $200 film take.

    If you aren't eager to tell a story only because of being afraid to lose money, then Disney shouldn't bother making a Kenobi movie/series from the get go.

    As long as it's thoughtful, well written and stays true to the character either avenue is good for me.
