MSW Leaks so far: A hint of what's to come for the KoR?

Anakin connects the Saga. Providing another villain to connect the Saga diminishes the central character. This is why Dart Plaggy needs to stay out.

That's sounding pretty weird

 

I can kind of picture what they are trying to describe, and it would make some sense of the opening trailer scene perhaps.
I imagine Rey and Kylo keep having these moments where they are suddenly connected even though they are in different places, similar to how they did in TLJ, but then they literally end up in the same reality.
At the start of the trailer, Rey is breathless, and seems to be looking around as if she is just getting her bearings. Almost as if she was in the middle of something else and just got dropped there.
Makes me imagine a scene where they "connect" while Rey is in one situation and Kylo happens to be piloting his fighter somewhere else - then, boom, Rey gets dropped in the desert... and then, just as she works out her surroundings and realises how exposed she is, she hears the fighter in the distance - Ren has jumped with her but is still in the fighter...

 

Just sounds like a version of and similar to Rey touching the lighsaber and the cave vision in the Last Jedi.

 

It sounds like Masters of the Universe, which was awful.

Someone should have told JJ that not every unused idea from the OT needs to be used.

 

It might sound weird, but as always, it will depend on the execution. Hopefully JJ pulls this off. I mean, if someone, prior to the release of Empire Strikes Back, had said Luke would be trained in the ways of the force by a green frog who talks strangely, we would have thought "oh dear god." But the execution was spot on.

 

The only thing 3PO would have in his memory that R2 doesn’t is memory of Anakin’s early life.

 

My two guesses: it sounds like World Between Worlds or whatever Rey's vision was in the forceback scene in TFA. Where she was going to multiple places.

 

There's a green frog who talks strangely in Empire Strikes Back? I've no idea who you're talking about.

Unless, of course, you mean this green frog...

I don't think so.

 

The weirder the better for me. The best parts of ST so far are the weird moments, Rey's vision, the force skypes, the mirror effect, Luke's projection, Yoda's force lightning, Kylo stopping the blaster bolt etc. All great. Promisingly this one sounds like it's got plenty of moments like that. What the ST has however lacked a bit of so far are crecendo's. Like if this was an album I'd say the first 2 thirds have a been a bit light on choruses. I hope they throw the kitchen sink at this one as well, we've had a lot of quieter moments, scenes that have built up then deflated to a sigh and RJ indulged his whole bathos kick but now I want to see more big, thrilling scenes as well. Not Force Unleashed level crazy but I think there's plenty of room to kick it up a gear or two.

 

KOR must be there mostly for awesome fight scenes. With so much to cover I can't imagine there will be much time given onscreen to us knowing anything about who the 6 individual KOR are. A comic book series developing their backstory would be fun though.

It seems like they're getting a lot of access to leaks recently; which gives me pause.

 

MSW doesn't seem to be working for me today. Is that just my crappy work internet, or is it down for others as well?
