    One question for the ones who know Cad Bane's backstory better than me : has his name "Cad BANE" anything to do with "Darth BANE", the Sith who founded the Rule of Two ?

    Or is it just a ... simple coincidence ?

    Cool! Though I wish they'd kept his eyes a little more open.

    Was curious about this too, so I did some digging.

    From what I can tell, there's no connection. Also, keep in mind "Cad Bane" is his name, while "Darth Bane" is a title.

    Other interesting things- when a bounty hunter role was needed for TCW, they considered bringing in the character Durge from the Gennedy Clone Wars series. For some reason, they decided to reimagine him as a human instead, and renamed him "Nom Kahbah". The Lee Van Cleif inspiration actually came before the character was decided on as a Duros, with him eventually being renamed "Cad Bane".
