    Well, well.
Strange days in the house of the mouse.
How will affect to future SW projects this new decision?

    For me? Not really sure.
Maybe they will go for competent projects like the last 5 movies.
Maybe they will follow Marvel rules, trying to influence more public with gags and mounts of cgi.
Maybe they will follow Rogue One old school rules.
Maybe the ST will result a great trilogy for those who didn't like it, depending on they will do now.
Maybe we will pray for Iger return, or even KK vision of SW too.
Maybe they will make movies that everyone will like.

As far as I’m concerned we got the end of the Skywalker saga under George’s appointed replacement at Lucasfilm and under the guy he sold Lucasfilm to, and I’ve loved the content they made. So whatever happens next, whatever they do and make next, IMHO it’s all ‘gravy’.

For anyone disappointed by anything in the post-Lucas Lucasfilm era, I guess this marks the beginning of a new opportunity for a change of direction, so that could be a positive for everyone.

He did step down as a CEO but he's still employed. He's moving to the Disney's creative side of things, whatever that means.

After the bungling of the Star Wars IP I can't say I'm surprised.

I'm sure the board of directors wasn't very happy with the results of TROS and the handling of other projects like the Obi-wan series.

I predict that Kathleen Kennedy will be following Bob out the door fairly soon.

I think it is far too soon to come up with any kind of determination either way. I prefer to base my opinions on the end product not rumours and suppositions.
