I am new to this whole blogging thing I don't know zilch about computers, so forgive me if I don't understand or if I really mess things up.

I'm a life long Star Wars fan. Been around since the beginning. I love every version of Star Wars released. And I am a fan of all things Star Wars. I am one of the old school fans that does enjoy the Prequels.

Found this site one day over a year and a half ago and haven't looked anywhere else since. Love this site and all the posts!

So I'm new to the cantina, but I've already posted a few times. I'm a professional documentary filmmaker, editor, and lover of all things Star Wars.

I watched the OT on VHS almost every night as a kid and still enjoy and appreciate the PT (I'm no purist).

I really enjoy the community and speculation on this site. It reminds me of dreaming up Star Wars movies that didn't exist as a kid (like the Ulic Qel-Droma movie my friend and I wished we could make) Such a shame that character is considered legends....but a New Star Wars is coming and I couldn't be more excited!

Hey, I'm Joey. I grew up and live in Southern California. I'm not a screenwriter living in LA.
I've been a huge Star Wars fan since I was a baby (born in '78). I'm wasn't into the Prequel Trilogy and had trouble with the Clone Wars animated series. However, I really like Rebels so far and I'm super pumped for the Sequel Trilogy.

 

Hi all come out of lurking finally after the concept art leaked.

Star Wars was the first VHS my dad recorded from the TV not only was it magic we could watch the same programme over and over, it was spaceships and lightsabers whenever I wanted!

30 years later here we all are, our love is re-ignited. PT & OT was re-run a few weeks ago in the UK, my 3 year old daughter saw the advertisement for it and said " Wowww thats amazing Da" and my heart sank!

Hi Maz here. I have been reading the front page for a while now and decided to join the forums recently. The Picture dump brouight me out of lurkering zone and I'll be commenting regularly I'm sure. I'm also a Mod over at Banthaskull.com which focuses MAINLY on collecting but has plenty of movie, tv, and other interests of the members.

I'm been reading the site for a time, posting a few times on the blog comments.
I'm from Spain and English it's not my mother language, so I hope you'll be understanding if I make grammar or spelling errors.
I'm a big Star Wars fan, and I have all the novels and comics published in Spain (in Spanish) so far. I even have English editions of some of the novels still untranslated.
I have a little blog where I translate to Spanish Star Wars short stories that went unpublished and untranslated, such as the Adverture Journal stories, e-book novellas, etc...
Right now, I'm waiting for a Spanish DVD of The Clone Wars: The Lost Missions to be announced. I hope it'll come soon!!!

I've been avidly reading the articles on this site daily for the past 5 months and figured it was finally time to join the ranks!

I'm 28 years old and spent a good chunk of my childhood wearing out old VHS tapes of the Original Trilogy. Star Wars has been a lifelong love and passion for me... as my oversized collection of models attests to...
Once upon a time I even authored a fanfic involving Luke turning to the dark side... which is somewhat ironic given all the speculation flying about now!

Anyhow, with all the excitement and speculation surrounding the new movie, I couldn't stay away from here a moment longer.
It'll be a pleasure getting to know you all and seeing how this all unfolds over the next 14 months!

Hello everyone. My name's Hal Berger, well not really, but since Google account demands first and last name (at least it did, when I checked it last time). So I split the username, I use at a couple of other sites. My first contact with Star Wars was either fourth part of the Star Wars Union comic series, or an event known as Star Wars Weekends, during which they showed all six films that had been released (TPM, ANH, ESB, RotJ and the two Ewok movies). This was followed by few books, video games and of course Lego's. So yeah, finally decided to drop in and say hi.

 

Hi. I'm new here. But old at Star Wars. Saw the original in the cinema when I was 4 years old. Love all Star Wars. Prequel haters diminish my world view. I'm so pumped for the new Trilogy that I fear my head may explode before I get to see it. So its a daily struggle.

 

Hi Chevron. Be sure to turn your webcam on if your head explodes. I'm pretty sure the Republic's legal team can prove it was the new Episode VII's version of a Force choke and get your family some money. Even more if we can hear the Imperial March in the background.

Hi everyone. My name's Nathan and I am from Australia. I am 34 years old and have been a Star Wars fan pretty much since the age of 3 when I saw ROTJ at the cinemas. I still have a lot of the original action figures from then and action figures passed on down from relatives from ANH and ESB. I began my collection in earnest when Heir to the Empire first came out. I pretty much collect everything SW literary related as well as action figures which catch my fancy. I hope to contribute something on here and get to talk to some new friends. Cheers

 

Hi everyone. I finally decided to sign up after lurking on this board...at least once a day. I have been a star wars fan since I can remember (I actually think it might be the first move I ever saw), Because of the movies, its pushed me into becoming a writer and hopefully working in movies. Can't wait to hang out with you guys as we get closer and closer to the new trilogy.

 

Hey everybody! I am a big fan of many films, books and television series, including Doctor Who, Star Trek, and of course Star Wars! Although you may have guessed this already by my avatar, oh well I am skilled in graphic design and I may upload some Star Wars work here from time to time, probably in the posters thread.

 

I didn't realize there was an intro thread here. I must have missed it. Since I'm still fairly new here, I thought an intro would still be in order.

I recently retired after a 20 year career in the field of smallarms design/development. These days I spend much of my time building commission models for various museums and collectors.

I've been a dedicated Star Wars fan ever since my father took me to see ANH back in 1977. I have a decent sized collection of SW toys, models, figures, and other memorabilia.

So far in my limited time here I have really enjoyed this forum. Great info, plenty of humor, and lots of interesting speculation!
