well, so everything and everyone will tie in in this last season: the Trinity (Tarkin, Krennic, Thrawn), the Rebels cell and the Rebel Alliance, the Ghost on Yavin, Mon Mothma and our little gang that meet around the command table along, with Dodonna and Kallus...

So is "stardust" the codename for Death Star in Rogue One (it is not the same codename here in France)?
And what means the "red suit" Hera wears?

 

I’m quite confident that this Trandoshan with that electro-whip (aka Zygerrian slaver whip) is some sort of jailer / prison guard from his outfit with helm, uniform and badge as well when looking at the surrounding.

Edit: That Trandoshan guy with the whip is from the Mining Guild. So most likely we’re seeing here a prison break (?) freeing some slaves from the Guild.

 

I really hope this season pulls no punches on movie characters. I want to see Porkins, Red Leader, Raddus, Merrick, Draven, Rieekan, any of Saw's partisans, Cassian, Pao, Bistan, throw in some of the other random Scariff grunts, Evaan Verlaine, and any other canon characters I might have forgotten.

 

Some say he can be seen running in the Yavin base in Rogue One (see the opening post of this thread)

 

The trailer looks awesome! I'm so glad they seem to be making every effort to land Rebels' ending right into the start of RO!

I can't wait to find out where Kanan, Ezra and Ashoka are at that point! I just hope the answer isn't dead, dead, and dead...

 

I hope they give the backstory to the x-wings like they did for the b-wings.

 

Hm, without consulting Wookiepedia on this right know, I thought that the history of the X-Wings was that technicians and engineers from INCOM made a run for it close to when the Empire was about taking hold of/shutting the shipyard down. The Incom guys then went to the Alliance to restore the Republic with the X-Wing designs.

I think West End Games came up with that version in the 80’s for their Pen&Paper RPG. Would be interesting to see what the canon version would look like.
