    In my opinion, SW always had a tradition of great female characters, even before the Disney era. Sometimes they flew under the radar or didn’t get the attention they deserved, but I always saw SW as a place for fascinating female characters.     I don’t think she deserves the hate and the actress is lovely, but Rose could benefit from some character development and better writing.

    4. Most Unsung

    Kabe! She is an awesome little bat alien in the cantina in ANH. I love her little backstory with Moftak, super cute. I didn’t even know she was a girl until I researched her because I liked the creature.

    5. Most Overrated

    Rey

    6. Most Underrated

    Padme, Aunt Beru, Mon Mothma

    7. Most Potential (deserved better)

    I kind liked Admiral Holdo although she suffered from some writing issues/agenda pushing. I heard the character was pretty neat in the books. I liked the actress’ performance and her epic moment was exciting.

    I always thought Padme’s dress and clothing designs were fascinating and some were gorgeous

    Rey-loved her set-up in Ep. 7. Was very interested in her character but didn’t like how it was handled in TLJ. I am hoping we see more development. I loved her little moments in TFA like rescuing BB-8 and making the space bread etc.

    I’ve always admired Leia’s personality traits and Mon Mothma’s elegant method of leadership.

    Leia in ANH, classic but different. I don’t know much about Ashoka but I like her colors and character design.

    Rey has some pretty neat stuff. I liked her staff.
