    I'm totally down for that! Lately I think Saturday / Sundays have worked best for us. PT sounds good for me... at least for one of the options. double-feature again??

    we can do one for that too! there is streamable content we can view for those, yes? usually I think they begin during the day when I'm still at work, so I am not too familiar with how they are run.

    Perhaps with IX coming at the end of the year there should be a monthly watch party watching all 10 of the movies in chronological order starting with TMP next month and ending with TLJ in November?

    for me, no. was not raised to have franchises as the "norm". TESB was a miracle.
    and after the PT, i was pretty sure Star Wars was over (or, at least it was to me).
    TFA came out of complete blue to me. i hadn't even paid attention to the sale or anything else going on with Lucasfilm: just BAM here's a new Star Wars movie!
    now: books, comics, fancy toys, movies, tv shows! holy cow! it's everything i wanted as a kid and more.

    i feel like i'm living the dream. : D

    This is me too. I loved SW so much as a kid, but the PT just didn't do much for me. I figured, "Well, Star Wars isn't for me anymore" and kind of moved on. I didn't pay much attention to the sale to Disney either, other than rolling my eyes that there were going to be stormtroopers at Disney World. Then suddenly into my world a trailer with The Falcon appeared. The Falcon! And suddenly Star Wars was for me again. In light of the ST, my SW love kind of bled backwards, and now even the stuff I thought I didn't like I'm at least reconciled with now. And everywhere I look now there is SW, both official and unofficial. It's like a giant buffet with all my favorite things on it. Getting refilled every five minutes. :D I can't believe how lucky I am. :cool:

    Hey, I know I'm pretty new to the forums but I would DEFINITELY be down for a group viewing! I work nights now so basically I'm free when most of yall are awake with a pretty flexible schedule. I also frequent Discord quite a lot so I think this would be a great idea.

    Absolutely not... ROTJ arrived just as I was about to start the equivalent of high school and (in my eyes at the time) completed the story. I was really surprised when TMP was announced and even moreso when the LfL sale and ST made the news. It seems nuts that we are here now, with a 10 film legacy and more on the horizon.
