Three episodes into The Book of Boba Fett, we've already seen the show is featuring flashbacks from Boba's past. These have gone as far back as the timeline of Attack of the Clones, as well as post-Return of the Jedi. In the show, they created new shots with young Boba, and for that, they needed a body double for Daniel Logan -- that's where Finnegan Garay came in. Both him and Xavier Jiménez, who played the leader of the Tusken tribe that Boba Fett joined in the first two chapters, opened up on social media about their involvement in the new show.

Garay is now the fourth actor to play Boba Fett on screen, after Jeremy Bulloch, Daniel Logan, and most recently Temuera Morrison. While he's appeared in the credits of the three episodes that have aired so far on Disney Plus, the young actor finally broke silence recently about his involvement in the show, posting a picture on Instagram with series lead Temuera Morrison. Check it out:

As mentioned above, Garay's name is credited in the first three episodes, but as 'Double - Young Boba Fett,' while Daniel Logan is still receiving full credit for playing the young version of the character and appears earlier in the credits. One of the questions fans have been asking ever since the first episode aired, and we got to see the first flashback in Geonosis, is whether or not Logan was actually involved in the show. Last week, we speculated that the 34-year-old could appear in a future episode as Boba Fett, possibly in a flashback set a decade or so before the events of The Book of Boba Fett. And going down that rabbit hole, could we see the Boba Fett vs. Han Solo showdown we never saw in Solo?

In the caption of the picture, Garay thanks Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. But so far, we've seen very little of young Boba, so we could also ask ourselves -- how much work did Finnegan Garay actually do? Did he have to film slightly longer scenes than the ones we've seen? So far, we've only seen him in a couple of shots, though we are seemingly getting a longer version of a scene in Boba's bedroom with every new episode. Where is that going?

Someone we probably won't be seeing again, though, is the leader of the Tuskens, played by Xavier Jiménez. The actor also posted a picture on Instagram with an emotional text attached, which acted as a farewell to the fans -- his character was killed off in Chapter 3, and it seems like he won't appear again. He thanked the team behind the show and Lucasfilm as a whole for the opportunity in the following post:

But this storyline is not fully done -- while the male part of the Tuskens may be done, we probably haven't seen the last of the females from the tribe. The warrior who trained Boba in the first two episodes, played by Joanna Bennett, was not seen with the rest of the bodies, leaving the door open for a triumphant rescue from Boba Fett in an upcoming episode.

Possibilities are endless now, and we have to believe that we have some surprises coming our way if The Book of Boba Fett is to meet the impossibly high expectations Rodriguez has created. Chapter 4 will stream soon on Disney Plus, and after that, we'll have crossed the halfway point of the show. Make sure to come back every Wednesday for our review of the latest episode.
