SPECULATION Next Trilogy about Mandalorians?

    Hi y'all! So recently I had this idea and question to ask - what are the chances that some of the major focus and/or antagonists could be the Mandalorians in the SST? It's way too far out there for any sort of grounded speculation, but I kind of like the idea.

    I mean, they've already put down some groundwork within the cartoons, with Mandalore getting a heavy focus on The Clone Wars, and Rebels having a Mandalorian character. The Disney-Lucas people KNOW fans LOVE Mandalore and Mandalorians, so is seeing them be all kick-butt on the big screen really that far away? I don't think so.

    Besides, the idea of a war-torn country uniting in an attempt to regain some of the glory they had from their past could make for a pretty cool tragic villain idea.

    Anyways, I'm just throwing this out there. So, what do y'all think? Like it? Hate it? Is it crazy? Am I crazy? Thanks and let me know!

    That is an interesting idea.

    My first thought would be for you to take that idea and run with it, write a book or a comic devoted to it.

    I wouldn't mind a single movie about the Mandalorians or something .....

    Mandalorians of Cannon are not very much like the Mandalorians of the old EU. They don't strike me as the galaxy wide threat that some people like. I think they work better as highly trained operatives.

    I would love to see an Anthology movie about Sabine where you learn that she is the unbeknownst to Obi-wan daughter to him and the former queen Satine. Raised by Satine's sister before she joined with the Ghost crew. Pulling her into Mandalore politics and having to unite all sorts of groups and take mother's throne.
