Not to make anyone feel old, but what was it like seeing the OT in theaters for the first time?

we made fun of my friend because his Snaggletooth was blue and tall.

we *should* have bought those blue snaggletooth sets from sears in bulk. #collegefund

    still have mine.
we knew he was special so we actually took slightly better care of him.
probably it's worth money, but i don't care.
have no intention of selling and the memories of playing with it are priceless.

That's the trick, isn't it? The items I purchased in the late 80's/early 90's to finish my original Kenner set can be sold without hesitation but the entire collection, complete with my old toys, has a much higher value. It's a good problem to have.///

To keep my reply on topic, seeing a few of the PT and ST movies on IMAX and IMAX dome are better viewing experiences than the OT in the theater on smaller screens.

The Jango Fett depth charge vs Obi-Wan in AOTC was a better scene in Imax than any of the OT scenes, period. It's relative.
