This is like totally unrelated to the spiritual sentiment that you're expressing here, but since you mentioned Sully... it was such a fun surprise for me to see Maya Erskine in this episode! Her Hulu show Pen 15 is absolutely comedic genius.

Disney+ says its 4K HD but it sure doesn't feel that way to me compared to other channels. This is especially true when they feature shows and movies with dark and nighttime settings.

The actors are racist, please explain?

On another note, I found it rather odd that Obi-Wan Kenobi had strap ons in the bacta tank. Does the actor not know how to swim? ( could it have been CGI edited out?) In TESB Luke was in the bacta without strap ons... was it because it was a smaller tank, was he able to sustain the tank with a breather apparatus, or for general safety the strap ons were used?

Looking forward to REVA exploits tonight!!! (emperor)(kylo ren)(dark)(epic fail)

No no no, "bad actors" is a phrase. Not referring to the actors in Star Wars, but the people complaining about them. It means, essentially, people arguing for something in bad faith. Malicious, grumpy people.

More info on that phrase here: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bad_actor

I love the actors in this series so far. It's great to have Hayden and Ewan back, and Ingram and Blair are doing a great job!

Also searched. Those bacta tanks get dirty. Filters on.

Thinking Luke must have had a hover-diaper with advanced tech, and upgraded nose pinchers.

Episode 4. What is a fortress so deep that one cannot measure its depth, impenetrable, yet it has no shields, and one can easily enter it simply by claiming authority? Answer it to yourself.

For people interested in symbolism, Leia in the torture chair is surrounded by a red octagon. A red octagon can also be an occult symbol of the mind stuck in matter, base consciousness.A mental prison. Another symbol that could lean towards the Jedi consciousness being alive in the tomb, in those cells. We could assume that all of the characters in those cells also sat in that chair for torture. It could just be a way to show that Jedi consciousness is entombed, and will not be free until the whole saga plays out.

What do you think of the tie fighters hanging in the fortress like vampire bats?

Leia, the moon/light goddess, is seen peeping out of the uniform coat when they leave the fortress. It's a metaphor for the little light peeping out from the cover of darkness, like the crescent moon. There are a lot of brilliant little things like that, that YT commenters called stupid.

The speeders rescuing them. Think about that question I posted, "What is a fortress so deep..." and ask what it means to speed out of it in a vehicle that's no longer carrying the garbage out into the world.

Another complaint in YT videos was that Kenobi's lightsaber doesn't cut through stormtroopers, but seems more like a club. With the blue lightsaber (blue) as a symbol of the mind, what does a dull blade mean, while the red is razor sharp? It's great.

Next, before and after this episode, they had an issue with people stabbed by a lightsaber and not dying.

The world is in almost total darkness. The dark side swords will not pierce through and destroy darkness. Only light drives out darkness. Dark trying to kill dark in a dark room is like going into a dark room with a broken lamp. That's my take on it.

what i do wonder about those fighters - which were purposefully put in the foreground as Tala's shuttle lands - is why none were scrambed/deployed to engage or pursue the airspeeders as Kenobi escaped the fortress

Joseph Campbell used to say that a myth is a public dream. When I got that, I realized that what we see in SW doesn't always make sense in terms of the real world, but carries a meaning as metaphor. If we had a dream about a car with square tires, we might think that's crazy, because you can't drive like that. But maybe we had a bumpy ride, or we had a rough go of things the day before we slept.

When I saw those fighters hanging there like bats, I started wondering if the dark side is sucking the energy out of those Jedi in the tomb, and using it the way a vampire uses blood. When they do not give chase, you realize that there are no real defenses or shields for that "impenetrable" fortress. Another important bit of information.

Then we get the whattayacallit that Reva throws at Wade, putting "Wade in the water," un-sullied.
Back here in episode 4, we received a hidden message about baptism, rebirth and slave code songs, the songs slaves used to sing with hidden messages on how to escape to freedom. In this story, we're talking about the freedom found on the path of enlightenment.
When you get to episode 6, after Reva runs off into the desert and finds the light from the little sun god, Kenobi says, "Now you're free. We both are." Casting black people in those key roles was a great move, because of our human history, and the deep meaning that brings to the story.

It has dawned on me that Tala is a personification related to the cycle of time. With that information, we can start to see all the meaning of her going with Kenobi into the fortress. One of the many messages is that when Reva realizes that time is working against darkness, she orders time stopped. Time gets her hands moving and clocks the stormtrooper to escape. The light side of the force has time on its side now, as well.

Do we see the fighters anywhere in the story? Why do they not come out when Vader is chasing in episode 6? Here is an interesting answer............. The galaxy has plunged into darkness. The tie fighters are solar powered. They feed on the light that darkness has totally consumed. The sun is still snoozing and looking for a belt for his speeder. I think they're gathering Jedi to suck the light out of them as a power source.

Then we go back to SW as an occult allegory. Air is a symbol for the mind. Air speeders escaping that place, with time on their side, the little waxing moonlight as a passenger, and the Hermes figure, Kenobi. The vehicle for consciousness no longer hauls waste after the light is saved from the tomb.

    Twin
    Ion
    Engine fighters

...powered by solar panels. Vampire bats. They're having a fuel crisis because the dark side has killed the light.
