I'm writing this as a live reaction, sitting on my sofa with my cat.
    • THESE were the flashbacks I was looking for. The lessons, the friendship - the fact that Vader IS Anakin.
    • Still a human dominance in all scenes, which is a step back from 1977.
    • Reva's backstory confirmed. Moses demonstrated the trauma of that event so well. God, I love when the connective tissue between the two trilogies is strengthened. YES!
    • Loader bot. Tala. :(. Heroes
    • Wait, Reva let Obi-Wan back into the facility after capturing him? Oh wait, now I get it.
    • Holy blast, Reva's death (?) as a POV - threaded with Order 66, exemplifies how terrifying Vader is.
    • Damn - tee'd up for a showdown on Tatooine. I got chills just seeing Luke being Luke. Not knowing the life that is in store for him.
This was probably my favourite episode so far. The logistics made total sense, the flashbacks, the heavy feature of Vader and Kenobi. That's what the series should always be, in my opinion.

Great episode, had a little bit of everything. The Obi-Kin scenes were really cool to see. Moses Ingram did a fantastic job. Very intrigued for the finale.

Well, we figured Reva is the girl at the beginning. Some of the points were hit from the leaks. I hoped they were a deception. They did not go big. If the last episode isn't a long one, it may end with a wimper. Everyone knew the grand inquisitor wasn't dead. Tala was a decent character... Disappointed to see her gone. Some things nice to look at. Nothing here to turn around the big critics. Enough for a second season? I don't think so yet. A snoozer for me. It's all just gravy after the original Star Wars, that almost wasn't made at all, right? Who'd have thought we'd be sitting here watching this? Crazy world. Hoping for a big finale, or

Looking forward to Aunt Beru. <3<3<3

Not bad. Still has little silly script and visual decisions (the general and dominant mood of the show) but not bad.
So I don't know if is the best or is in the same tone. Maybe slightly better?

I like Vader, the flashbacks (although is an "older" Anakin"), some answers, Tala the hero and Imperial hangars and Shuttle in the background.

But tired of keeping alive dead characters or not finishing others.

Should have finished Reva for my taste. Yea, we know there is still good in him but I don't buy it in this scene. Vader was so badass in previous scenes and It was so brilliant killing Reva also in the flashback but keep her alive buried the great power of the moment. Would have been a really great death. Hope OW finishes her in Tatooine for all continuty from knowing (i hope she is the only one) Anakin from the past and who has become and knowing OW and "the boy" are in the desert planet.

First shot of Coruscant, pretty bad I must say XD

This is true. At the time of my live reaction, I thought he had killed her. There's no reason to let her live. However, that seems to be a common theme of Disney SW. no one's ever really gone...

To me It seemed an unfinished big model, or an unfinished cgi background. Seemd so poor.
Maybe it was me at first view. I'll see better in my second viewing

One thing this series does brilliantly 100% of the time is giving me anxiety IN SPITE of knowing the outcome for our lead(s). Now I am worried about Luke, lol.

The highlight of the episode was the fact that Anakin/Vader never learns from his mistakes. He is arrogant and power hungry so...

“You're a great warrior, Anakin, but your need to prove yourself is your undoing. Until you overcome it, a Padawan you will still be.”

And Vader was played like the padawan he is. He predicted Reva's betrayal because dark side is predictable, but Obi-Wan and Roken played him because they didn't need to win, just survive. Still, him ripping decoy ship apart was deeply satisfying. Also, the way he played with Reva, not even using his own lightsaber.

Tala & NED-B, rest in the Force. Droid protecting Tala with his back made me tear up. Also, Kenobi fighting like a madman to protect the refugees, the speech he gives them, him surrendering to Reva and his conversations with both Tala and Roken show the evolution of his character. He is slowly regaining his fighting spirit and hope and returning to his true self.

I really liked both O'Shea Jackson Jr and Moses Ingram in this episode. I like that Reva is still dark sider, revenge is her only goal, she doesn't care about the children and families, she will again sell Obi-Wan/Bail out to save herself. Obi-Wan felt it on that ship.

One more episode to go! I'll be so sad when the show ends.

Take that, Grogu. Leia knows her red wire from her blue wire! (But I thought the wire was cut? Never mind, nothing to see here.)

"I don't need anyone!" yells Reva. Then proceeds to order an entire squadron of stormtroopers to do her work. :D

Ah, the old sneak-a-transport-behind-another-one trick. Those wily rebels.

Huh. Vader doesn't like the spinny lightsabers either. :p

I really wish baby Luke had lighter hair. I mean, teenage Luke has if not blond hair (luke), then certainly light brown. Maybe Tatooine hasn't had time to bleach his hair yet with its two burning suns?? Maybe Luke actually wanted to get to Tosche Station to pick up his Sun-in??

I love how they set the tone with the warning: "Some viewers may find it uncomfortable." Or something to extent.

This was another fantastic episode. Did a very good job of showing how Obi-Wan was exploiting Vader's weaknesses.
Not sure what Star Wars you've watched, but this has been a theme in Star Wars for almost 50 years. Maybe you're thinking of pre-Jon Snow Game of Thrones.
Reva was handled very well in this episode. Her pain is much like Obi-Wan's pain, but here she's processed it differently and chosen a different path. There's still hope for her.

What an AWESOME episode!!!! This one had it all---goosebumps throughout!

I particularly loved having the episode play out to a 'flashback' of Anakin and Obi-wan dueling...
That was my impression too---my initial thought was why not de-age them? Then, as the duel continued throughout the episode, I realized it wasn't meant to be a true flashback--it was Obi-wan and Vader dueling each other 'back in their Clone Wars days' inside their heads. That's why those scenes could play out with their aged selves. Others here might disagree but I believe the whole duel was designed to be an allegory for the events that took place. Thus, in the end, Obi-wan says: “You're a great warrior, Anakin, but your need to prove yourself is your undoing. Until you overcome it, a Padawan you will still be.” ....which sets the stage PERFECTLY for Vader's remarks to Obi-wan when they meet again in ANH.

Things I *loved* in this episode:
    • Reva's backstory and how Vader knew all along what was really going on. (I have to smile at all the angst the Grand Inquisitor's 'death' caused -- as if Lucasfilm was ever going to ignore the Grand Inquisitor's appearance in Rebels.) :)
    • The Tala and NED-B scene was absolutely incredible.
    • The Reva - Vader fight choreography was pretty damn incredible as well.
    • I don't feel so bad about misplacing my car keys or cellphone after seeing Obi-wan FORGET his top-secret communicator! Geez, man! ;)
    • For what it's worth, I thought the music in this episode enhanced the action.
Can't wait for the finale next week. May the Force be with You all!

To be fair, Naja did that. Obi-Wan left all his things with him when he left to face Reva and we see Naja dropping it and deciding that his life is more valuable than a communicator. And he's not wrong. ;)
