With Obi-Wan Kenobi barely a month away from release, we are getting more details from several people involved with the show every week. Rupert Friend, who plays the Grand Inquisitor, is currently promoting his latest Netflix series Anatomy of a Scandal. He was briefly interviewed by Hey U Guys at the World Premiere of that series, and was naturally asked about the upcoming Star Wars Disney Plus series.

Friend teased that Ewan McGregor does things with the Kenobi role that will be a 'dream' for fans of the original films. He also said that we should expect some cameos and Easter eggs. He had this to say, when asked how excited fans should be for Obi-Wan Kenobi:

This isn't the first time Friend has been asked about the project recently. Speaking to BBC's The One Show, he discussed how much he would sweat while wearing the Grand Inquisitor costume. He would also go on to speak about the symbiotic relationship between the Star Wars fans and the people making Star Wars.

For people who are not familiar with Rupert Friend's acting abilities, Anatomy of a Scandal will give you the perfect introduction to his wide range, and will undoubtedly get you excited for his portrayal of the Grand Inquisitor.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will debut its first two episodes on Disney Plus on Friday, May 27. The show will air the remaining four episodes weekly, every Wednesday thereafter. Stay tuned for more news about the show as it gets closer. You can check out the interview with Rupert Friend here:

An actor saying good things about a show he is starring in  ok... we shall see on May 27th. People have already criticized his look in the show... which I do not have a problem with, but many do. Cameos will be looked at as fan service... so yeah, hoping for the best. My expectations are tempered, to prevent disappointment, to say the least of all...
