So it was going to happen eventually. Let's just get it out of the way now. Rey's related to The Mandalorian! Rey is his daughter, who he hides away with Carbonite freezing technology, until his missions are over. Unfortunately, when they unfreeze Rey, The Mandalorian has to hide her away again because her life is in danger. Done. There. Can we move on?

Also, for bonus points: The Mandalorian is actually Korkie from TCW, who in turn is the hidden love-child of Obi-Wan and Satine. So Rey is a Mandalorian Kenobi after all. We've done it guys. Let's go home.

*since both TCW and ROTJ show that Carbonite can preserve people for years. The clip in the trailer seems to show that Carrbonite can be used for bounty hunting target preserving practices too.

Edit: In case this isn't clear to some, I didn't misclick in labeling this humor. It's a smarmy joke.

While watching Rey attacking the Tie, I couldn't help but think of Legolas mounting his horse and climbing the oliphaunt.
So there is clearly elvish blood running through her veins.
