I like Boba, don't get me wrong, but I would prefer that Boba Fett just be the main antagonist in the Han Solo movie. Not sure Fett would make a good stand-alone film. I'd rather see Ewan McGreggor reprise Obi Wan in an adventure.

If the Fett Film was about Boba surviving the Sarlacc incident and then tied in some of the events around and after ROTJ I might be excited for it. Otherwise I'd rather he just have a villain role in the Han Solo movie also.

Maybe it is about him getting his reputation as the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. Maybe he faces off against Cad Bane?

I think what we all want is more angsty armorless teenager Boba Fett and his amazing friends.

I'd love for Daniel Logan to come back as Boba Fett, but like others said in the Han Solo film as the antagonist.

I just want 2 hours of Boba Fett collecting bounties. And a "disintigration"

Anyway - you're going to get your Ewan Obi Wan movie next probably anyway - we're going to have Star Wars movies every year for ever.

No, Boba Fett aquired his own set of armour. This is evidenced by his smaller set of his green armour in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Funnily enough Jango Fett, and by extension Boba Fett are not Mandalorian warriors in canon anymore. They are just regular people that managed to obtain Mandalorian armour over the years, and are considered pretenders by factions such as Death Watch.

For starters, I don't really want a Boba Fett movie. I want something different that fleshes out major events or adds to the lore. I feel the same way about the Han Solo movie. But I would still see either and both can be good.
I personally do not want Fett in the Han Solo film. Mostly since I feel the arch-nemesis relationship between the two was projected by everyone.
Similarly, I don't want a post-Sarlacc Fett. I mean, what's interesting there? Especially since we know he's really Snoke.* Similar feelings on Fett's story between The Clone Wars and A New Hope.
What I really would want to see if a Fett film were to be made is having him be an anti-hero between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. He's hunting down someone who we do want to see get taken down. It just allows Boba to be what fans want and would make for a cool film. And it can end after Fett's capture (or disintegration) of the antagonist with him hearing about a substantial reward for the Millennium Falcon...

I still think that is among the dumbest things ever. It's like finding out that Obi-Wan wasn't really a Jedi.
Damn it, George Lucas (it was his idea during the production of The Clone Wars and was restated to still be true).

*All of the sarcasm since that's the stupidest theory on Snoke's identity that exists.

I'd much rather have a Ewan McGregor lead Obi-Wan spin off than a Boba Fett film. Sure, feature Boba in the other anthologies, but his own film? The guy barely talks.

I could get behind a Boba Fett movie where he leads a band of other cut throat bounty hunters on a mission against both the Rebellion and the Imperial's best interest, like a job ordered by a Hutt. Something along the lines of Suicide Squad.

I would like to see Boba Fett collect a few bounties then cause a bit of trouble for the rebel alliance.

I have a feeling a lot of the scrapped Star Wars 1313 concepts may end up in the film.

I'd say Celebration 2017 is when we an official announcement about the film and Celebration 2018 when we hear about a director.

What I think would be cool would be if they did something similar to The Steve Jobs movie from last year with Seth Rogen in it where it's split into three segments of Boba's life...the movie starts off at The Battle of Geonosis as Act 1, his relationship with Darth Vader as Act 2, and his escape from The Saarlac Pit as Act 3 with the movie ending with him walking away from the pit tearing off his armor as he throws a bomb into the pitt..

I like the start of @Ralok-one's idea, where it starts with (a ship, and then somehow switches to) Fett escaping the Sarlaac pit, and from there maybe doing the arc of the 1313 game, but with Fett fulfilling the mentor role. The movie would also show the story of Cad Bane training a younger Fett like in the unfinished The Clone Wars episodes.
