Looking at the time frame of the movie, more likely Reys Grandma. Rey's a Solo confirmed.

I figured we were just assuming this. No speculation here.

In other news, the next spinoff movie will be "Rey's Mom Squad," a team-up movie about Jyn Erso, Iden Versio and Qi'ra.

 

The more I read, the more it seems like the high class look might be a cover. Anyone here ever watch Leverage? Gina Bell's Sophie Devereaux is a grifter who occasionally assumes the role of Lady Charlotte Prentice, 14th duchess of Hanover.

Though, it also says she's fighting to survive, that makes me think Jedi Runaway too.

 

I just want her and Daisy Ridley to be on a photo together on the BAFTA awards next week to fuel even more the speculation about Qi'Ra being Rey's mother.

Emilia Clark apparently said Qi'ra will be a "hero" to young girls who like Star Wars.

So, seems unlikely she'd turn against Han unless Han is actually in the wrong and Qi'ra does what's right. Which, knowing Han, is still definitely a possibility.

 

In the case of Qi'Ra is not Bria Tharen clone, and that she is a Jedi youngling survivor, I nominate her as Scout. (Tallisibeth Enwandung-Esterhazy.)

Emilia sort of hints that tragic ending for her character in her EW interview. I'm fine with it as long as her other strong female character survives the end of the other saga.
