There's also a particularly egregious case in TCW where Cad Bane is able to expertly use a lightsaber to fight against a Jedi Knight without any of the proper training or any inkling of knowledge of the Force.

God, that was a weird episode...

    Bingo.
Most people here are not *against* Finn having these abilities, and I'd wager most would probably enjoy it...if it's done right.
But most of the "clues" so far are just desperate.

If Finn gets his own big moment with the Force, that'd be great. But if 9 roles around and he's Force sensitive because of the scene at the castle was our big clue....I won't apologize for not buying it, because that's lazy writing, bad editing and weak story building.

I agree with the writing and the editing if it is not true.

My one and only argument can be is that Legend or Canon? And are those pictures now part of the Star Wars Movie Trilogy?

in response to your question on whether Magnar's post is Legend or Canon, the Sabine fight and the comic excerpts with Han, Chewie, and Leia using lightsabers, are both Canon. i'm pretty sure the storm trooper and the Lando excerpt are also Canon.

the fact that anyone can use a lightsaber doesn't mean Finn is or isn't FS; there's still a shot he could be. i mean hell, until RotJ came out no one would have guessed that Leia had any Force sensitivity, and that's been proven otherwise time and time again since the release of the OT.

I hope we see a Finn flashback in the next one.

I've been wondering lately something that's been on my nerves. When Rey was captured by Ren, how/why did Finn know that Starkiller Base was precisely where Rey was taken?

It's a plot hole, unfortunately - if the characters had mentioned that it was 'their best bet', it would have covered it up a little, but alas.

Yeah, I find it weird that Rey was taken precisely where the Resistance fighters and Han were heading, rather than the Finalizor.

It is fairly annoying, because - despite a few way too unbelievable coincidences - most of the film is pretty tight in that regard.
