Explosive Decompression? I think that only happens if you go from an incredibly low pressure area to one that has high pressure, and it usually doesn't involve headsplosions. It really depends on what the atmosphere of a spaceship is compared to space itself.

Some space-based deaths that occurred as a result of this effect happened with the crew of the Soyuz 11, but nobody was found mutilated when they recovered the bodies, and CPR was actually attempted on the astronauts. Meanwhile, the only case that I'm aware of involving someone being turned into giblets as a result of pressure changes happened with the crew of the Byford Dolphin, an above-water oil rig. If you're interested in the gory details, see the following:

Subsequent investigation by forensic pathologists determined Diver 4, being exposed to the highest pressure gradient, violently exploded due to the rapid and massive expansion of internal gases. All of his thoracic and abdominal organs, and even his thoracic spine were ejected, as were all of his limbs. Simultaneously, his remains were expelled through the narrow trunk opening left by the jammed chamber door, less than 60 centimetres (24 in) in diameter. Fragments of his body were found scattered about the rig. One part was even found lying on the rig's derrick, 10 metres (30 ft) directly above the chambers.

So, for those of you who don't know, yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the death of our beloved princess, Carrie Fisher. To honor her, I recorded a medley of Leia's themes on the piano. I've been tweeting it to Mark Hamill to see if he notices but he hasn't unfortunately. :( However, hopefully if any of you listen to it, you'll enjoy it! I worked really hard on it to make sure it was perfect for Carrie!
