If it's slightly bigger then what they had Obi-Wan do in 6, i'll be happy.

Mark Hamill: "I sure hope so [that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is my last appearance as Luke]. (laughs)" "Well, because…I had closure in the last one. The fact that I’m involved in any capacity is only because of that peculiar aspect of the Star Wars mythology where if you’re a Jedi, you get to come back and make a curtain call as a Force ghost." I think both flashbacks and force ghost could very well come into play for Luke. I have a feeling there may be some de-aging happening considering Hamill was on set with no beard. Thought it was interesting.

Yeah, wish I could find the picture. He's in the make up room (which was on the SW set), but in regular clothing. No beard. He kept talking about when he shot for Knightfall that he had to have the beard glued over his real beard, but in the photo he' has no beard.

    Who knows.

@Luke's beard Here's a photo of two after Labour Day Weekend in early September. One is a shot with Jane Goodall and it's dated Sept 4th. He was in London during this time. He was trolling that he had to work on Labour Day (SW of course). Could mean nothing, but it doesn't add up to me. Hope this works.

I am curious what Luke's role is going to be in this film. I think it's going to be larger than the normal force ghost role. Pushing out the lore for force ghosts really could be a big thing for this film. The force ghosts are really the common thread in each of these films. Will that be expand upon?

You have to figure this is the last we'll see force ghosts unless the new Star Wars films take place in the future.

Yes, if anyone has seen the trailer for “The Irishman,” you’ll know that digital de-aging has come a long way. There’s the potential to see much younger versions of Hamill and Ford in this film (and possibly even Fisher) if Abrams thinks there’s a creative need for it. I’m glad to see that the progress of digital de-aging technology coincides with the production of the Sequel Trilogy, and I’m really hoping we get to see younger versions of Luke and other classic characters.
