Going to google, looks like they were the Black Sun people that Maul and Savage went after when they were working with Death Watch.

I have posted many other posts about the series under each numbered episode. I will continue here.

Now that I understand Kenobi as a Hermes character, and Reva as Ishtar, Tala as the cycle of time, Lola is the female ovum, and I've seen the references to the chakra system and the Wizard of Oz,
the whole series followed a pattern of traveling a path from the lower chakras to the higher chakras, a reverse pattern of the Wizard of Oz. The con man is like the false wizard from the Wizard of Oz. When we get to the fourth episode, which it would take a seminar to explain, we are in a kind of inverted Emerald City. We are in the blackened, deadened, trapped heart, and the mind is entombed. The fortress is consciousness entombed. That is the temple of the mysteries in darkness, torturing the heart, imprisoning and enslaving the mind, vampiring the light from the Jedi entombed there. We observe this position in the chakras every week, on Woden's Day. Woden is a Hermes like figure. Kenobi is a Hermes like figure. He brings together the above and the below.

The fence in episode 3, as I discussed was the cross over point into the temple inside of you. This is the door at the Emerald city. Kenobi pushes the bell button to disable the gate, and it doesn't work. Now, why doesn't it say "knock" like it does in the Wizard of Oz? We're going into the heart in the Wizard of Oz. Knock and it shall open unto you. If we're going into the deadened heart, cut off by the Emperor, we have to shoot that gate and break it down. It's an emergency. In the Wizard of Oz, the gatekeeper doesn't let them in at first, but he's so touched and starts to cry that he opens the door to the heart out of care. In Kenobi, the dark side has locked the door to get into the heart. The stormtrooper takes a kid hostage-- no heart. Freck, animal consciousness, is driving the vehicle outside the gate. When we get through the gate, we're saved by the cycle of time, and we're letting light back into the temple.

The con man is the wizard of oz at the 2nd chakra. Snoke was the wizard of Oz at the 1st Chakra. Kenobi is the real wizard at the upper Chakras, offering a true wizardry.

What a amazing series. A real head trip.

I would guess that Reva returns with an ORANGE lightsaber. That would be something. And possibly the other half of her lightsaber, indigo or DARK BLUE. She could be on both ends of the chakras 2 and 6 as a goddess of transitions. Intuition and sexuality. That's woman, right? 2 and 6 would make her 8 pointed star of Ishtar symbol. She went out with the dark, and came in with the moon and sun.
We may see the 8-pointed star on her costume, or somewhere prominent. They could do red and blue, then when she spins it, you see purple. But I'd rather see orange. Red and blue doesn't make sense.

The entire plot of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series is Jules' speech from Pulp Fiction

    "Ezekiel 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee"

Understanding Reva's lightsaber as an Ishtar symbol has helped me realize that the Inquisitors' lightsabers represent death at both ends of the cycles of light and darkness-- total death of the light. Reva's should now change to represent a quality of falling towards darkness on one end, and lightness on the other. Indigo blue on one end and orange on the other would be a perfect fit. She's Venus, the night light that brings in the moon, and the morning light that brings in the sun-- exactly what she did in the fortress, and with Luke from the dark desert.

The next series, because of Reva, may move into the heart, and that means the heart of the Jedi may make an appearance. Yoda. I hoped they'd save him for TESB. But, they may use baby Yoda. I have my suspicions about Grogu. I think he could have more to do directly with Yoda than we think. The mind made the journey up that path to rescue the heart. It's time for the heart to go rescue the mind. Those Jedi in the tomb are coming out, I hope.

Pardon me for interrupting the discussion of lightsaber colors and death symbols for a brief little take:

I'm not 100% positive of this but, based upon repeat viewings, I believe the last 'hero shot' of Obi-wan heading off into the sunset(s) is looking at Beggar's Canyon.

So... Ned-B and Bumblebee. Are they related?

Both are mute and share the same surname, although according to the Aurebesh writing on Ned-B's chest, his designation is Ned-W.

I know a lot has been said and written about Hayden Christianson's appearances -- or specifically, lack of them -- in the Obi-wan show. FWIW, I believe THIS ONE SHOT is worth whatever they paid him (and more) for his work. This camera shot is destined to be an iconic one.

Has someone watched Obi-Wan Kenobi "Patterson Cut"?

A fan released a cut of 2 hours and a half movie. I started yestarday (with 45 min left) and honestly, must say works far better as a movie.

The following lines contains spoilers from Obi Wan Kenobi show, just in case.

A lot of silly moments are not in it and we can clearly appreciate the importance of the editing process in shows and movies. Is not perfect cause there a couple of subtle cuts, but in general there are some really very good decisions. There are a lot of original shots and scenes that tells a lot and the editor has made the decision to eliminate redundant elements (there are a lot) and the story moves forward wisely.
Although, of course, some of the weakest moments and directing parts, bad dialogs and bad actings, that could not be removed for obvious reasons, are there. And yes, are more noticeable.

You have to excuse me, cause although is great to see all characters there, but we (ok, I can, a personal opinion, and nothing to do with her persona, as Pernilla August is very bad too in TPM) can clearly appreciate Moses Ingram is quite bad in her role. She tries so hard but she has a completly unnatural acting in OW. I have rewatched her moments in Queen's Gambit and other roles and she acts completly different and far better than in OW show. And little Leia is so cute and all that but her acting is not very natural either and is so distracting.

But yes, there are much fewer scenes with leia (there is not the sensation of OW and Leia taking a long vacation adventure together which is quite good and better for R2 message), and Reva (as a lot of of other characters, not only her) has less screentime.
There is no chase in the woods (brilliantly finished), Anchorehead scenes are fewer, there is no awkard dialogs on the truckspeeder with stormtroopers, no absurd dialogs with Roken and Haja, the cape scape is precipitated but it's far better looking and 1000 times less silly, and sometimes the music is more noticed everywhere.

In general terms I prefer this cut. Maybe in the future i will only watch this version. Who knows.

PD laser fence scene is still there, but shorter XD

I was wondering when someone would try to reverse engineer the screenplay. A story for a movie gets artificially expanded to work as a miniseries, then gets cut back down to feature length again by a fan editor. Read/write culture is so interesting.

I enjoyed each episode as it was at the time. I also senses that an uninterrupted feature length version would play very well and find that idea desirable. I don't intend to watch a fan edit though. I'd prefer it if LFL turned it into one. But why would they? Even if they agreed that a feature length version was viable, I don't think they would effectively render the series, and the work done by people to present it that way, obsolete or redundant. Unless it was perhaps for a physical release, an exclusive deal for another platform perhaps. Or a limited theatrical special release. Only the last of those seems in any way likely though.

At the end I guess is all about feelings.
My opinion is ST had more continuous, connected, and coherent work with the saga than OW or TBOBF.

Like RO or Solo more than PT, to take another exemple.

When the saga fails in little details of connections is where it seems weaker.
