    I don't really know how the porgs will turn out and if they are too overhyped. I don't want a jar jar situation with him being everyone's most exciting thing but turning out most people didn't like him (I like him tho.) [​IMG]
    Also the amount of screen time that the porgs have and how they will fit with the tone of The Last Jedi remains to be seen. Also does anyone know the name of the main porg or is it just Porg #1 or Porg? #besttoahmedbest

    Now that we all watched TLJ, how much did you like the porgs? Or didnt care? Or hated them???..hahaha

    In my opinion they are cool little creatures. And most of the shots were very well done and funny. Some of them:

    ☆ The two curious porgs examining the lightsaber;
    ☆ The sad face porg during Chewie's dinner;
    ☆ The porg imitating Chewie's roar;
    ☆ When Chewie takes the porg out of the MF panel.

    PS. I am sure they were created for the children and all of them loved it!

    I loved them; they were one of the highlights of the movie for me. I liked all the parts you mentioned, and also thought it was cute to see the nests with babies.

    This was the best, the first time I've seen the movie I started cringing thinking "They are not to explode a porg on screen, right? Certainly not... Bwzzzzzz! A puff of feathers. Right?".



    But this one created both "awww" and "that's low blow" reaction:



    Porgs were great, just the right amount. The porg roar FTW. :D
