Oh, Bizarrely that is not where I got any of my information from. Within the Rumour I heard about Rey, she never made it to the jedi training ground, and she wasn't the next chosen one after Anakin but the ONLY chosen one. and Anakin was simply not the one destined to bring balance to the force.

Here's a link to the bit about the force visions and stuff:

    https://www.comicbookmovie.com/sci-...ot-details-for-star-wars-episode-viii-a142676

Sadly I can't re-find the article I read that said Rey hd been on her way to train with Luke but for whatever reason didn't make it.

Still, I think even if all these are fake leaks, the way in which they would play with the TFA script and work with the film without too much exposition leads me to think that its now more likely that Rey is a chosen one rather than a Skywalker/Kenobi.

I'm not saying its true or anything but for me the way they set up TFA doesn't lead me to think Rey would be related to any of the other characters, but it does lead me to believe that many of them (Luke, Han, Kylo and eventually Maz) all know who she is.
So that's interpreting in of itself.

I think she'll keep the blue, but I wouldn't mind her just keeping her staff or making a new saber (maybe even a more unique one) with Luke as part of her training.

I am in no way an advocate for the Rey is really Anakin reborn theory but with that being said I can not deny how awesome this is

This is the best theory on Rey I have heard, and a shocking one, just like "I am your father" in the original trilogy.

This fits really well with my theory ! Once again !

The image bottom left is mind blowing if Rey's quote isn't The Force ?? but The Force !! She's not using it, she feels it !!

This is the trench scene in my explanation :

There are also a lot of visual parallels between the Anakin VS Obi-Wan fight, so we can see Rey as Anakin (in the Count Dooku fight only) and Obi-Wan against Kylo Ren (Anakin in the Obi-Wan fight). Using Revenge Of The Sith as a baseline, there's evidence for both of the most popular theories about her heritage in one go.

You can find anything if you look hard enough. I saw a comparison to Rey and Sidious's very stabby lightsaber style. So of course she is his daughter.

If Rey is to become a true jedi, then she must build her own. And pass on that knowledge to a future generation of jedi.

    REY: "I... was your father!"
LUKE: "Not again..." *looks down over cliff edge*

I'm curious as to what she thinks made these previous female characters "male characters in everything but gender". Yay, more identity politics!

Not necessarily. Thankfully Kennedy is acknowledging that there is a difference in how men and women respond to things even in roles that demand action. There have been films where the female action hero acts in ways exactly like classic alpha males. Both genders can punch both can be nurturing, both can want revenge but how its portrayed can feel out of place.

But what examples are we talking about here? What made Rey act in a fashion fitting to her female characterisation? What is male behaviour and female behaviour in action films? This is the sticky subject that people land themselves in when they think too hard upon it.
