    This thread is devoted to the discussion of everyone’s favorite reconnaissance pilot and Resistance hero: Temmin “Snap” Wexley.

    Although Snap didn't have much screen time in The Force Awakens, he stole every scene he was in and left audiences clamoring for more Snap. He’s sure to become a fan favorite and join the ranks of beloved minor characters like Wedge Antilles, Admiral Ackbar, and Nein Nunb.

    Temmin “Snap” Wexley is a pilot in Blue Squadron known as the best recon flier in the Resistance’s Starfighter Corps. Snap grew up on the Outer Rim world of Akiva, the son of a rebel Y-wing pilot who flew in the Battle of Endor. His recon flight of Starkiller Base helps the Resistance come up with a plan to destroy the First Order superweapon.

    Snap Facts:
    • Greg Grunberg, who plays Snap, is a childhood friend of J.J. Abrams.
    • Snap first appeared as a 15-year-old in the 2015 novel Aftermath, written by Chuck Wendig.
    • Snap’s mother was a Rebel pilot who flew a Y-wing in the Battle of Endor.
    • Snap flew in the Battle of Jakku when he was 16-years-old.
    • Snap owned a modified B-1 battle droid named Mr. Bones.
    • Snap was a member of Black Squadron prior to joining Blue Squadron.
    • Snap will potentially be featured in episodes VIII and IX as Greg Grunberg has stated that he signed on for three movies.

    I can't believe your poll left out this quote, from the "Jump to Lightspeed" deleted scene: "Is there any other speed?" That's definitely my favorite Snap Wexley line! ;)

    Good info above. (I didn't know there was a Black Squadron...I thought Poe was only "Black Leader" because of his black X-wing.)

    I'm sorry, I don't have much else to add other than I liked Snap just fine, and I will watch his career with great interest. ;)

    i agree with @Choose Light: "is there any other speed?" is his best line!

    i didn't love Temmin in the book ( though he was well-written as a punk kid). i did love Mr. Bones and i do think the kid had a good "maturing" arc in the novel, though.
    i thought his colossal betrayal was well-done and showed that for all his intelligence, he was still a boy and too inexperienced to understand the full gravity of his actions.

    i don't know how much more Snap we'll get to see in the coming films, but i have a good feeling he'll make it to the end. it'd be cool to have some scenes with Poe and his squadron "off-duty" or at least not flying ~ and they get into in a fight of some kind ~ hahaha.

    The new Aftermath book has more Temmin "Snap" Wexley and his mother it sounds like it's some rescue, or mission to find Han Solo. Sounds like it will be out in July. There was a small part in that first Aftermath book where Han and Chewie were going to Kashyyyk. So it may have something to do with that. He was a fun minor character in the film, but when I first read Aftermath, I didn't put it together that it was the same character.
