Official Theatrical Poster - What Would You Like To See?

Rey (occupies 65% of the poster) in the middle of the poster, holding the lightsaber close to her face in a way to divide the poster into two parts: 1)to the left of the lightsaber - the dark side (Kylo Ren in a slightly new outfit, Snoke, others), 2)to the right of the lightsaber - the light side (Luke, Leia, others). Also, other different sh#t scattered randomly on the poster in a starwarsy way.

 

Lmao some of you dudes are pulling a Chinese poster on finn

 

Clearly the title of co-lead is not enough to get Finn on some of these posters, lol.

 

I think the poster should be 40% rey on the left. 40% kylo on the right
With luke at the bottom, placed between them looking heroic. Like 15% luke.
Who am I forgetting
Oh yea, BB8 should be rolling across the top of the letters that spell out star wars.

And of course leia needs to be in it as well. Cause she's a main character in the trilogy.

 

Wrong, it should be entirely composed of a close up of Rey's face with the title written on her teeth.

 

I would like to see everyone we didn't see on The Force Awakens poster.

Ie.
Luke vs Snoke (perhaps in a similar way we saw Rey/Kylo at the top and at the back..)
Hux

and a bigger / more prominent picture and helmet less Poe.

Obviously any notable new characters not being saved for a surprise in the movie itself.

 

Since there's no more need to pretend she only uses a staff, I'd like to see Rey with the blue lightsaber ignited.
Maybe hand the staff over to Finn. And make Poe big enough to make out his face.

All of these are secondary concerns, though...

A BIGGER PICTURE OF FINN...AND OH COURSE LUKE!

 

Yes that's expected,

 

something with a lot of shadow, the blue/red dichotomy, the falcon, Luke, Rey with Anakin's blue lightsabre in combat vs the knights of Ren, Kylo and Finn on her flanks. Poe and BB8 somewhere. An ocean, the island. Stromtroopers. Something like that. The visual vocabulary of the posters of the originals is very rigid

 

I want to see some B-Wings and some new Resistance ships, First Order star destroyers accompanied by some new fearsome dreadgnaut (which is kind of a superweapon in itself). Luke in the upper middle, Rey below him with a blue double-lightsaber, Finn with the exoskeleton (there is no way he heal naturally from the spine slash). Kylo, Snoke on the sides and Benicio character below Rey with Knights of Ren (like Phasma and troopers in TFA).

...And NO new Death Star! (but that is more of a demand for Episode IX actually)

Nothing like the Force Awakens poster, my only complain about the movie.

Yes! They should. They perfectly capture a fan's view of the films IMHO. An excellent blend of surrealism and minimalism.

 

Keep the focus on the new generation! Luke should be in the poster, but as a shadowy figure in the background, making it unclear if he is good or evil or somewhere in between.
