Couldn't agree more.

 

I'd agree with the argument of him teasing people caused a problem. Infact i think its been that "teasing" that has created an hysterical and irrational minority that spam him about plagueis.

However there have been numerous times he's gone on tweet sprees about Snoke which shut the door on Plagueis and even more crazy theories. At some point people have to stop with their delusions and stop assuming Pablo is some kind of master manipulator that is lying about snoke's "real" identity.

Furthermore, he could shut off his notifications, no disagreement there, but i hope he won't because some of his answers to non-snoke questions are really good.

 

I get that. I know I was worried when I heard of this new trilogy at first. I don't hate the prequels, but they are the first ones people think of when someone says they are making a new SW movie.

 

I personally like the prequels but regardless snoke should be brand new...i think they still need to explain how he knows things about anakin and the prequels though.

Oh yeah! New or not, he knows the past and that should rightfully be explained!

 

Chances are his backstory might go the way of the knights of ren and/or be explained vaguely in some ranom book

 

I've been reading this theory people came up with that he body jumps and Snoke's real form is unknown. Some speculate he wants Kylo's body next. That would be creepy!

Haha sometimes I think wordplay is at hand. We have a book hinting Ren saved a young Rey, then we are told Ren never met her. That still doesn't mean Ben didn't meet her! I could see Snoke ending up that way too. "Well he's not human now, but he was once" lol

 

What book hints that Kylo Ren saved Rey when she was young? I thought people just assumed this based on his appearance in her Force vision!

 

It was announced on a Twitter account, but the account is suspended at the moment. I forgot what it was. Maybe a graphic novel? Seems to contradict J.J's words though, so it's all very confusing.

 

Ohh, gotcha! Thank you for clarifying because I hadn't heard of that! I believe someone on this site (possibly in the "Is Luke Rey's father? Evidence for and against..." thread) said that it was possible what JJ meant was that they hadn't met prior to the events of the film as far as Rey knows? It's very likely Rey's mind was wiped considering she never specifically identifies her family, so perhaps when he captured her, that was their first meeting in her mind. Or perhaps when he saved her (if he did), he didn't know it was her, he just felt something inside of him telling him to save her. Who knows? Like you said, it's very confusing, but I think that was JJ's plan all along!

 

Sometimes I think he saw her in visions like she saw him, so his "it is you" comment was because he realized she was the girl he saw himself dueling. We know she saw him as a boy with Snoke. He might have seen her too. Especially if he once touched Anakin's saber and he saw his own version of what she saw.

 

That's interesting! I never really thought of that, but that's a really good point! I guess I need to go back and re-read The Force Awakens novel!

 

Confirmed: Snoke is Brendol Hux, the father of Armitage Hux.
