I was just thinking about one of the differences between Star Wars and Star Trek... Star Trek seems to set huge chunks of the plot actually inside the ships. That's probably where the majority of TNG's stories take place. Think about how many rooms we've seen inside the Enterprise — the bridge, engineering, transporter room, sick bay, the holodeck, cargo bay, captain's ready room, captain's quarters, private quarters, officer's briefing room, we know that place inside out — but how many rooms have we seen inside the Millennium Falcon? just a couple. It's the same with the Empire's big ships.

I think it would be really cool if Marvel did a few one-shot comics set inside the ships themselves, so we can look around the places we've never been. Have a story set inside the Millennium Falcon so we can look around inside it, instead of just seeing it from the outside all the time. Have a run of comics set onboard the Death Star as well. I know there's already that novel about the Death Star but I always thought the story was a bit bland -- maybe they could do a run about it's construction, taking in everything that happened in Rogue One. We know what Galen Erso did from the outside, but it might make a good story seeing how he achieved it all from the inside -- seeing all the scrapes and close shaves he must have had trying to do his secret work.

I love all of your ideas, and especially this one. To the casual fan it might seem a little boring to see the DS built, but let's be honest a casual fan probably isn't buying the comics anyways. I don't get to check many comics out myself, but I would really be interested to see something like this!

That would be cool. The closest thing we have to this are the SW books that do cross sections of various ships.
