    I think she should be a Skywalker. Either Leia or Luke had to give birth to her.

    I'd like her to be a Skywalker, but I also hope they don't try to spring it on us as if most of us aren't already expecting it. If they do it well, I think that what will be surprising and fascinating for us as the audience will be the details of the backstory. Clearly, they wanted to keep this a mystery, but if the big mystery is the mere fact that Rey is Luke's daughter, there will be a massive collective "duh!" ringing across the globe once episode VIII comes out...

    i would love it if luke had gave birth to her..... that would really take episode 8 in a weird direction....... stars Wars meets Junior who would see that coming :)

    maybe Luke is both mother and father in some homage to Anakins virgin birth ? .... maybe thats what sent Kylo nuts .....
