    Hello Cantina mates!

    Since Rogue One has included one character from The Clone Wars animated series, and there is recent buzz that one of the unknown X-wing pilots could be Evaan Verlaine from the "Princess Leia" comic and then part of the "Aftermath: Life Debt" book, do you think the stand-alone movies - either Rogue One, the Han Solo or the unknown yet 2020 project - will include more original characters from the Marvel Star Wars ongoing series? Which one would you like to see? Feel free to discuss.

    You know my favourite SW character...
    (ahsoka)

    However— while I have mixed feelings on seeing her on the big screen/live action, I usually come down on the side of "let Ahsoka Tano remain exclusively an animated character". ...Maybe that's mainly based on a fear that my expectations can't be perfectly met, so why bother at all? There may be good contrary arguments, but that's where I'm at right now.

    But others? Hell yeah. I'm certain we'll see it happen- and I'll bet two nickels that they'll do a great job of it, overall.

    Somehow (and perhaps paradoxically), I've always thought that Asajj Ventress and Barriss Offee would both look terrific on the big screen. —I'm a huge fan of well written, female, force-wielding characters. There's always been something drawing about the inner-power and strength of females portrayed as "powerful", but that such portrayals hopefully go beyond merely "gruff and tough". (This was an aspect of inspiration behind the concept of my avatar photo– which, at the time of the shoot– was intended to be a series representative of that theme- the strong, adventurous, thoughtful, kind, powerful female figure. Characteristics exemplified in the "Jedi" context.) Good examples are (and will be) more and more common as our societies and cultures move progressively forward.

    Ok ... back to topic-

    Ezra! I could envision that. -Particularly a fifty-something Ezra...

    I'm not interested in Kanan so much...

    Rex? Sure!

    Whatever happened with Quinlan Vos, post-Ventress? (I didn't read that book). ...Would he work well as a live-action character?

    I'm really interested in what the more knowledgeable fans have to say on this overall topic...I'll be watching!

    Yeah, I'd love to see Ahsoka on a live-action movie, but... well, the thing is that I don't know if I could see her with another voice other than Ashley's. Maybe they could get an actress with a similar voice range, but... I don't know.

    From the comics, I guess a Dr. Aphra would be a great one to see. She and Sana Starros would be my first choices. (For obvious reasons, the Rebel Jail arc wouldn't be a good idea to bring to live-action - it features a OT Leia so... no.)

    Doctor Aphra and Sana Starros would be my pics from the comics. Evaan yes, that is cool too. I love how they added so many cool female characters. We used to play other movies with our Star Wars figures as kids, and droids often became girl characters. Rae Sloan, Jas, Sinjir from books. Would love to see a Ventress movie.
